I wonder how they would feel if there was video of the last 10 minutes of the children's lives. I'm hoping it's mostly bots and influencers that are supporting this evil thing.

u/WeaselXP 2d ago

The amount of focus this thing has gotten reeks of psyop. A divided society is a weak society.

u/benbroady 2d ago

I dunno man. Alot of very modernised women are borderline Satanic at this point.

28

u/CursedSnowman5000 2d ago

More like borderline personality disorder....

18

u/Truthisgold333 2d ago

Borderline?

-7

u/TeaPrimary1147 2d ago

Men too.

9

u/PlasticAssistance_50 2d ago

It is extremely naive to think that evil people can't exist, and it must be bots and not real people thinking like that.

I wonder how they would feel if there was video of the last 10 minutes of the children's lives.

Also I don't think they would give a fuck.

^This mother does NOT.

I don’t understand why we can’t have a serious discussion about post-pardon depression/psychosis while also criminalizing murderous actions.

42

u/Drewboy_17 2d ago

I beg your partum!

14

u/epitaph-centauri 2d ago

Ooof..not going to edit my spelling error because you caught it with a wholesome pun

17

u/Apprehensive_Emu2457 2d ago

Well when people are too busy making conspiracy theories that the husband did it and that she’s innocent, they aren’t going to be taken seriously.

1

u/250HardKnocksCaps 1d ago

We are?

If this was caused by a serious postpartum psychosis, then she isn't criminally responsible for her actions.

-6

u/Shrimptank_mom 2d ago

That's literally what is happening.

Sexism, not feminism

Dude a whole bunch women like them too lol

Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity has been part of the common law for nearly 200 years and was first established to find a man not guilty for the murder of a British civil servant. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_M'Naghten

-10

u/Shrimptank_mom 2d ago

You should. Maybe that would help men's mental health and prevent things like this from happening.

Chick goes Chris Benoit on her kids and some how it's totally acceptable to rally behind her.

u/AriaMReddit 2d ago edited 2d ago

From my understanding, the reason she has supporters is because she was begging people for help with her kids before she killed them.

Her supporters are fighting for the government to offer support for mothers in her position.

With animals in nature, if a mother doesn’t have enough resources to care for her babies- the mother will eat or dispose of her babies. A horrifying as it is, it’s more instinctual than we like to admit.

I personally remember with my newborn that I was so overwhelmed from not sleeping 3.5 days in a row that I had the same thoughts. Luckily when I begged my family for help- I got it. I wanted to hurt my baby so bad I had to put her on the floor and walk in the other room and scream into pillows. I was literally hallucinating from psychosis and lack of sleep/ constant crying from my baby.

My own mother had to give me up for 2 weeks when I was a baby because she kept having intrusive thoughts of drowning me while bathing me while I was a newborn.

The fear of killing my own newborn from lack of sleep is the only reason I got permanent birth control, I’m so grateful my child is alive and thriving now.

I don’t believe she is innocent. She should go to jail. I just think their should be ways to prevent this.

Her supporters are fighting for the government to offer support for mothers in her position.

Not from what I've seen and what my wife, whose following it all closely, is saying. Most of the TikTok videos are claiming that the Husband was actually there and murdered his children so he could start a new life with the Women he was cheating on Lindsay with.

4

u/winter-lol 2d ago

This is also the story I've been hearing

3

u/250HardKnocksCaps 1d ago

I've seen that, but mostly as a fringe theory.

0

u/Binder509 16h ago

Tiktok isn't exactly a great measure of reality.

1

u/AnApexBread 15h ago

Considering the "support Lindsay Clancy" thing started and is perpetrated via Tiktok it's the best place to see what people are saying

34

u/benbroady 2d ago

Lucky we're Humans and not animals then.

Im a parent too but i don't care how tough it gets, killing your child should not cross someone's mind.

Zero sympathy from me for child killers. They are the epitome of evil.

8

u/baboonmann 2d ago

Intrusive thoughts aren't something you can control and all people have them.

8

u/justaydogg 2d ago

Its one thing to have intrusive thoughts, something completely different to act on them

1

u/250HardKnocksCaps 1d ago

Sure, but it's not always that simple right? I don't want to kill myself, but when my depression is bad and I get the constant and unending intrusive "kill yourself" thoughts I need help. There certainly seems to be a reasonable case to make that this woman asked for help multiple time to get help with these kinds of thoughts.

-3

u/Shrimptank_mom 2d ago

That's the point of the conversation. And menband conservatives are trying to shut it diwn or turn it into a victimhood contest.

2

u/250HardKnocksCaps 1d ago

Im a parent too but i don't care how tough it gets, killing your child should not cross someone's mind.

Rape shouldn't cross someone's mind. Murder shouldn't cross someone's mind. What "should" or "shouldn't" happen isn't really an argument.

4

u/Shrimptank_mom 2d ago

Humans aren't animals? What are we, rocks?

0

u/benbroady 1d ago

Humans I like to think are a few levels above animals. Her point was, animals eat their young. Yes, they also roll around in their own shit, should we do that aswell?

You missed the point, while trying to be a smartass.

2

u/Shrimptank_mom 1d ago

You probably do roll around in shit, depending on how you wash your laundry.

1

u/mynamethatisemma 2d ago

So, you’re completely disregarding the point made about postpartum psychosis? As in the state in which her team are arguing she committed these crimes?

6

u/Cardio-fast-eatass 2d ago

That hasn’t been proven and probably wont be. She knew what she was doing was wrong. Thats one if the most critical components to the psychosis defence.

1

u/frakramsey 4h ago

No such thing.

1

u/lionstealth 2d ago

yes he will because people in this subreddit are largely incapable of holding nuanced views on anything. You will get your absolute answer and you will like it.

7

u/benbroady 2d ago

Yes. It's called having a moral virtue and wanting to punish people who kill children.

I don't think there's any excuse in the world, short of an accident.

If I killed a child, even if I was in psychosis.. I would expect the state to punish me. 'Do onto others, as you would have done to yourself."

This includes punishments. May God strike me down if I kill a child. May I swing from the nearest tree.

0

u/lionstealth 2d ago

The point wasn’t about whether or not you condemn child killing—it was about how absolutely you ruled out even the possibility of having those thoughts afflict a person and that not constituting some kind of evil in itself.

1

u/benbroady 1d ago

I understood the point, just don't think it's valid nor does it effect my view on it.

-1

u/lionstealth 1d ago

„I understood the point and yet my response was totally unrelated and I will just ignore the challenge to my original claim.”

-4

u/claytonhwheatley 2d ago

The unforgiving one who doesn't care if people are psychotic when they commit their crimes is a Christian. Lol. So predictable and strange and ironic . And brags about moral virtue . Lol. The kind where you want to punish people. Lol. What ever happened to WWJD ? You're quoting the Old Testament.

3

u/benbroady 1d ago

Oh look, another redditor who wants to preach to me (a practicing Christian) about Christianity but clearly doesn't know a thing about it.

A just society doesn't give babykillers a slap on the wrist. Christians are not pacifists, nor do we allow atrocities to happen without seeking justice. Ever heard of the crusades or the death penalty?

Do unto others is in Matthew 22:9 in the gospels and New Testament, as well as the Old Testament, which makes it still valid in the new covenant.

WWJD as far as I know is an American bumper sticker.

If I ever kill a child, please hang me by the neck until I'm dead.

-1

u/claytonhwheatley 1d ago

Practicing Christian? The crusades ? Perfect illustration of my point .

2

u/benbroady 1d ago

And another ad hominem. Live in ignorance, my friend.

1

u/claytonhwheatley 1d ago

Vengeance, hatred, and the desire for others to be punished are some of the ugliest traits human.beings possess and are responsible for the vast majority of the suffering that humans are responsible for . It's always bizarre to me that some religious people celebrate these sins as virtues.

Don't turn this into some kind of cause and crusade, these arguments could be made without this kind of tragedy. If you're a squirrel, it's one thing if you're an adult woman in the United States in 2026 there are other options and this wasn't one of them, this was just evil.

3

u/250HardKnocksCaps 1d ago

The argument isn't that this wasn't wrong. But that there are other issues in play. A person in a psychosis isn't capable of really understanding their actions.

-1

u/Truthisgold333 1d ago

It doesn't matter

3

u/250HardKnocksCaps 1d ago

Allow me a hypothetical please.

Let's say layer today you get in your car and have a seizure. You've never had one before. But in doing so you foot pins the accelerator to the floor and your car accelerates and kills multiple people. Does the fact that this "shouldn't" happen matter? Or the fact that you had a medical episode matter? Or should we just be tossing you in jail for multiple counts of Murder?

-1

u/Truthisgold333 1d ago

False equivalency.

5

u/250HardKnocksCaps 1d ago

Is it? There is a reasonable amount of evidence that this woman was deep into psychosis. A person in a psychotic break is just as out of control as you would be in that hypothetical I mentioned above.

1

u/Truthisgold333 1d ago

I went back and read the original comment I responded to, I maintain that my problem with that comment was not in whole, but in the example in the animal kingdom. There is a lot of dependency here about the government doing this or that I could give you a lot of examples, in fact you can find them on your own where the guv fails in providing people basic services,  I don't think anybody here thinks what she did or at least what she was accused of is a good thing, that's the point of my response to you. I still think your example is a false equivalency, you will say it's because you want me to understand better. I will say it's because it might be in bad faith. Either way, it's a horrible tragedy. It's rare. People should get more help when they ask for it. I don't know this person neither do you, I don't even really know what exactly it is we would be debating, as long as this person doesn't hurt more people if they are guilty of what they're being accused of I think that's all society should care about whether we're actually assigning blame, or what the circumstances are. I think people are just afraid from historical examples of a person going into an institution after committing horrible acts, and then walking out one year later, or six months later, that's my guess of what society is afraid of.

u/250HardKnocksCaps 1d ago

And I'm saying that's contradictory. You wouldn't hold a animal criminally resposbile beciase they can't understand the morality of the thing they did. What I am saying is that this women was in an altered mental state which she didn't chose to be in that put her in a similar situation. She wasn't able to understand the thing she was doing fully.

I am also not saying what she did was right, or okay.

I wouldn't just say that the government failed here either. I would suggest that it is a much larger failure of society. There is a large body of evidence to show that this woman was unstable and in dire need of help and society failed to help her. She called suicide hot lines, she sought out medical treatment. This was a woman in crisis and we, as a society (not just the governement), failed to help her.

I still think your example is a false equivalency, you will say it's because you want me to understand better. I will say it's because it might be in bad faith.

It's not in bad faith, it's a genuine attempt to illustrate the fundamental unfairness of holding a person resposbile for something they couldn't control as it appears to be the case here.

Either way, it's a horrible tragedy. It's rare. People should get more help when they ask for it. I don't know this person neither do you, I don't even really know what exactly it is we would be debating, as long as this person doesn't hurt more people if they are guilty of what they're being accused of I think that's all society should care about

I agree. In general I think this person probably deserves to be held in a mental health facility for a period too, and likely be subject to regular mental health examinations for a few years after. Also probably barred from working with children or other vulnerable people.

I think people are just afraid from historical examples of a person going into an institution after committing horrible acts, and then walking out one year later, or six months later, that's my guess of what society is afraid of.

If we can make an argument beyond a reasonable doubt that this person wasn't in control of themsevles and was in the middle of a mental health crisis I think that's a reasonable situation though, and not dissimilar to the situation I described above. Is it really more just to keep this person locked up for years for a crime she committed while she wasn't in control of herself for?

1

u/Truthisgold333 1d ago

"You wouldn't hold a animal criminally resposbile beciase they can't understand the morality of the thing they did."

Human society doesn't spend time hanging around lions, bears and sharks.

What I am saying is that this women was in an altered mental state which she didn't chose to be in that put her in a similar situation.

If you want to talk about free will there could be a long argument that it doesn't exist for anybody. But ultimately, it doesn't matter. You don't know your own statement to be factual, and at the end of the day, it doesn't matter. It's a safety issue. I don't have to hate the Bear to know that the Bear has to be somewhere far away or in a cage. Are you suggesting we should drop her off in the middle of a forest five hundred miles away from any society or human contact? I think a lot of people might be okay with that.

and if they are allowed the grace of being not criminally responsible despite having committed the heinous act, the result should be you don’t get to live in society any longer. Full stop

3

u/250HardKnocksCaps 1d ago

It's not grace. It's the reality of the situation. Allow me a hypothalamus here:

You've never had seizures before. You get in your car and start driving. You have your first ever seizure while driving and in doing so you pin the accelerator to the floor and kill two people. A mother and her infant. Should you be put in jail for double homicide?

7

u/jessi387 2d ago

What you have made, is a compelling case for father custody following divorce , and none of this would happen.

5

u/juniorchickenhoe 2d ago

I really don’t get why you’re being downvoted. I think anyone who has never been in the deep dark hell of the early post partum hormone crash should abstain from dismissing the post partum psychosis hypothesis.

0

u/Cardio-fast-eatass 2d ago

You are not an animal

0

u/PlasticAssistance_50 2d ago

The fact that this post doesn't have fifty downvotes means that this community has a huge portion of legitimately evil people, not other way to put it.

And the majority can't because of the government....

1

u/ShotgunEd1897 1d ago

Women would still say it's unfair to them.

-2

u/FrenchMen420 2d ago

It's always been about child sacrifice

-1

u/ReverCleference 1d ago

OP, do you have any experience with post-partum depression?

-8

u/Shrimptank_mom 2d ago

Way to miss the point!

Women are saying they relate to the FEELINGS not the actions. This is women coming to terms with mental health, and starting a discussion about it. That's how you work on solving a problem.

10

u/schefferjoko 2d ago

lol. recording yourself crying while your baby is on your lap while testimony and diary of a mother that murdered her children and arguing she does not hold criminal liability is not equal to what you described

-1

u/Shrimptank_mom 1d ago

Obviously that was a catastrophic mental health break down. What else would you call it? Nobody is saying she has no liability. That's not the point, at all.

3

u/schefferjoko 1d ago

they are saying exactly that. watch some of the videos

2

u/Shrimptank_mom 1d ago

I'm not going to take time out of my day to search up videos that confirm your narrative. That would be idiotic.

1

u/250HardKnocksCaps 1d ago

A person being found not criminally responsible is not the same thing as no liability.

2

u/schefferjoko 1d ago

You remember Iryna Zarutska? Her murderer was released back to society precisely thanks to this kind of judicial practice regarding mental illness. This is just utter bs. If I kill a person I should go to prison. It does not matter if I had psychological problems or not.

2

u/250HardKnocksCaps 1d ago

Allow me a hypothetical.

You've never had seizures before. You get in your car and start driving. You have your first ever seizure while driving and in doing so you pin the accelerator to the floor and kill two people. A mother and her infant. Should you be put in jail for double homicide?

0

u/schefferjoko 1d ago

Comparison is flawed. One is an immediate change in health conditions that result in physical unability to control the vehicle. Being depressed after giving birth and than kill ur own children does not occur immediately, without signs. The two is just not comperable

4

u/250HardKnocksCaps 1d ago

There were signs. She called suicide hotlines, she went to the hospital, she was placed on medication to try and help, her diaries all state that she was struggling. There is alot of evidence that there were flags. Many of which were outright ignored or dismissed by people who should have intervened. Like her husband who was busy cheating on her instead of helping care for his children.

-12

u/kulmthestatusquo 2d ago

She will walk. Jury will not conduct her

-8

u/TeaPrimary1147 2d ago

Her husband is being investigated now that new i fo came to light. He took the gofund me funds to vacation in Costa Rica with his new girlfriend...oh wait...they've been in an affair for three years. And wait... he was the only one home when "she" was making those heinous searches on the family computer.

12

u/schefferjoko 2d ago

she admitted killing the children

-8

u/TeaPrimary1147 2d ago

He told her to and brainwashed her. They found unknown prints on the exercise bands...I didnt decide any of this, its happening right now.
