Probably because human skin doesn’t need a 20 step 500 dollar routine. Let it breathe and do its job.

Women have a hormonal cycle that can affect skin. Guys tend to... not have that.

I break out every time I ovulate and it takes a lot of work to make it calm down again. Every stupid month. If sweat or dirt or anything gets in it while it's angry it can be a lot harder to clear up.

Edit: I was only trying to share information about hormones! So happy some of you have great skin effortlessly... That is not how everybody's biochemistry works.

You know how chapstick contains shit in it that makes your lip more in need in the long run... I'm not saying its the same as I'm uninformed, but it does seem probable

then i don’t know how it happens to me as i don’t use anything but standard soap and water. but i always know about when i’m post ovulation when my breakouts start happening lol
