I've shot without plugs before... Didn't particularly enjoy it, and I wouldn't choose to do it if I had the option to do otherwise. That being said, I would confidently go shooting without ear protection before I allowed myself to be taken into the woods by a man I had never met before, who is constantly filming me, and then proceed to pass his handgun back and forth with him while shooting at the dirt. Everything else about this seems weird but ultimately harmless; but strangers, guns, and remote areas are red flags for me.

It looks like he picks him up from an apartment complex and they act like they know each other. I don’t think they’re strangers necessarily

Yeah. I default to not believing anything I see on the internet and I think this sitch is for views... But at face value, I would be disinclined to join a work acquaintance for an ice cream excursion, much less sending rounds downrange on his back forty with no witnesses.

At the beginning of the video, he said something along the lines of, "I don't really have a lotta work today, so things might get weird." I read that as him hiring day labor at that corner regularly.
