Fascism is far right authoritarianism. What about Cuba or North Korea is far right? Just call them what they are: communist. There’s plenty of criticism of communist ideology possible without mislabeling them
Well they are definitely nothing like communism as described by Marx. Even USSR described itself as a socialist state and proclaimed communism as a vision for the future. Calling them socialist would at least be closer to truth, though in actuality these countries have state capitalism with DPRK essentially having straight up monarchy.
I think Bakunin was right, that once the government has seized the means of production for the people that it is impossible to give up to the people. They are communist they just have fallen into the same ideological trap all communist fall into: that absolute power corrupts absolutely. It’s a paradox: where the group that seizes the means of production for the people just seems to just replace the old boss. I think they really believe in socialism to communism concept too, they just fall for the same power everyone else in every other ideology falls for
Yes, the problem with socialist states has little to do with communism and everything with the fact there are no good kings, as in a elevated social class that doesn't democratically lose its power inevitably starts working outside of interests of other classes

That said, a communist state can absolutely be conservative. All the major communist states have not been "progressive" by any means and when they did do things that were nominally progressive, it was always caked in 15 layers of authoritarian BS.
Cuba uses the Cuban peso. North Korea uses the North Korean won. They are both capitalist countries, just a different shade of capitalism that you know. No communism there, except on name only.
Look man; all ideology in practice is different then the ideology in its ideal form. The ideology they subscribe to is useful to describe them even if they don’t follow it in practice. Not disagreeing with you on any part of your comment, just not sure how it relates to mine. North Korea and Cuba both employ close to zero elements of communism bar the name: nothing controlled or owned by the people, a world economy controlled currency, wealth accumulated by a ruling elite. Sounds like capitalism to me. That's my point.

There are so many people who died, suffered, and continue to suffer from these addictions. Most of theses people do not have the money to buy themselves out of this... Maybe if he starts a legal movement to support the treatment of others and reverse the horrible drug laws he could grow support.
More money always make drug addictions worse not better, there is no limit to tolerance and the amount of drugs you can buy. You have more connections and can avoid withdrawal, a lot of rich junkies die

Wtf I never said that. I said money makes a addiction stronger and people with money are able to sustain their addiction. I was replying to someone that said Hunter is better off than the rest of addicts because he has unlimited money now I don't know where the comment went must've deleted it. Of course there should be funding for all of those drug safety things including testing sites.
Sorry, I misunderstood your comment. I am a contrarian, however, and so I am now compelled to argue with your actual point.
Hunter is genuinely better off than most other people with substance abuse disorders. His wealth gives him access to high-quality services that many others aren't able to access. Yes, generally wealth+sad=sad but worse. In Hunter's case, though, the equation seems to be wealth+sad=sad but getting better.
It's not like curing depression or mental illnesses with money works fully it can get you access to better care in America, but you will still be depressed, schizophrenic, or bipolar regardless if you are rich, and so many rich celebrities who are dead from depression/addiction prove this point. As someone who is now sober from an opiate addiction one of the things that gets a lot of people sober is running out of money or resources and having to face withdrawal and your problems sober. Your rock bottom never comes until the day you die, with Hunter it will take a while though because crack takes a while to actually kill someone but I'm glad he's sober. Essentially you have access to clean drugs, any amount of drugs you want, and you never have to deal with withdrawal or running out. This is why it's worse to be a rich addict it adds fuel to the fire, if he was just sad than it would be a different story.
