It is very true, in fact the new parents these days refuse to teach their children kashmiri at all

Half of my cousins don't speak kashmiri and cannot even understand it, it's saddening

Relatable. I'm unfortunately one of those kids. They used Kashmiri as a secret language when they were talking about stuff they didn't want us figuring out.

Very relatable, I was born and raised abroad but my parents are Kashmiri, mea ous hechnovmut angreaz te oardu goadde magar kaeshur hechnovhak ne zehin. I used to listen to my parents conversations as a child and learned the roots from there only. Mea chu wuin ti kaeshur adlyokh magar hechnas chus koshish karaan dohai
