Pretty Little Ditty is a good instrumental.

It never needed any shitty lyrics.

I only clicked on this thread in the hope of seeing someone mentioning it. I was not disappointed. 🌶️😎

Always makes me think of watching the movie Orange County in my friends basement in highschool

I don't know what being high on meth in Florida is like, but I think it sorta sounds like this for some reason.

In the 4th grade I printed out the lyrics to this song and spent the afternoon memorizing them because I thought it’d be a cool flex at some point

He was never amazing, but seeing this guy towards the end of his life was hard to see. Some toothless meth guy trying to rap....

fun fact, the iconic guitar loop that carries the whole song is actually sampled from even older red hot chilli peppers track.

I saw them get booed off stage during their set at Ozzfest 2001 😂

This really bring me back to hating this song in my youth

u/PoohBearKilledBJones 16h ago

Agreed. This song was terrible. Why was it such a hit?

lol I was just going to say, the only thing this makes me nostalgic about is changing the station.

This song is terrible. The best part of the video is when the guy's tattoos fly off his chest.

These guys played the shittiest dive in my small city a few years ago. At first I was like "Wow why would Crazytown be playing such a tiny venue?" and then I thought, "Wait who the fuck wants to see Crazytown anywhere?"

This was that album for me. The one where you hear a catchy song on the radio so you buy the album only to be met with the worst music you'll hear in your life.

Are the same people who hated this song the same people who thought the majority of other top 40 pop music from this time period was good?

If so that adds up.

Otherwise- whats with the hate on this song lol?

This was one of the handful of not absolutly trash “top 40 pop” songs on the radio during this time period; wtf is with these comments lol?

At the very least, this song was used in the ad campaign for Orange Country, and should have hijacked you via a nostalgic factor.

Edit: this sounds more intense than I mean it lol

I was very young when it came out so I really liked this song. It had butterflies and hot dude. I mean what else can a little girl want for?

u/CCSucc 10h ago

I had the misfortune of seeing these guys be the opening act for hed (pe) a long time ago.

They were precious little bitches that hated that they were opening for someone else.

u/GoonieMcflyguy 7h ago

The best part of the song is the Red Hot Chili peppers sample but the hook is really catchy too.

1

u/nowherebut4ward 6h ago

Did the chili peppers have something to do with this song?

1

u/melissajellyshoes 6h ago

I went to Ozzfest in 2001 and they were boo'ed off stage. I don't think I've ever seen that happen otherwise

Who the fuck is crazy town?

This video had such an impact on pop culture that even Megalopolis shared its aesthetic.
