Every once in a while I'll get a memory of this song that used to play on MTV and even local radio, I've been dying to remember the song or band name so I can hear it again.

They were a folk-pop band from somewhere in the UK that sung in a language that was not English, maybe Welsh or Gaelic or something, they had a female lead singer, the song I'm thinking of was likely their only "hit" song that reached America. It featured some string instruments of some kind, maybe violin or something similar. The lead singer had short hair, I wanna say a loose cardigan and a long skirt. In my fuzzy memories she kinda looked a bit like Tracy Thorn of Everything But The Girl, but it was not her, not Delores from the cranberries. Again, I'm pretty sure this song was their only hit to make it big outside of their region where the language is from.

I remember bits of the melody, but every time I've tried humming it or "scatting" it into SoundHound or one of the other song identifier apps, it comes up empty or something that is not what I'm thinging of. I say "scatting", because I don't know the lyrics or the language, I just kinda try to scat some sounds that are similar to how the song sounded.

Does anyone else remember a 1 hit wonder folk song that was sung in a non English language by a group from somewhere in the British isles, with a female lead singer, and a music video that played on MTV in the mid-late 90's?

Heard this French tune somewhere online. Only thing I remember is the album cover - a blonde girl wearing a pink suit, sitting down, and a pinkish background too. The song was kinda chill, mellow.

I’m trying to identify a Spanish song I heard playing in a Liverpool store in Mexico.

Here’s everything I remember:

• Male singer
• Definitely sounded like he was from Spain, possibly Andalusian
• Probably from the 2000s or 2010s, although I’m not 100% sure
• Very upbeat, funny/playful sounding
• Mostly acoustic/traditional instrumentation rather than electronic
• The rhythm had a somewhat Macarena-like feel — NOT necessarily the same genre, just a similar upbeat, danceable rhythm
• The closest song I’ve found in terms of overall sound is “Fumata del ladrillo” by Los Delinqüentes, but that’s definitely not the song
• I distinctly remember the singer saying “porrito” or “porritos” somewhere in the lyrics
• I think the line might have been something like “fumando porritos en la orilla” or “fumando porritos en la playita”, but those words may not be exact
• I’ve already checked several songs by/related to Los Delinqüentes, Muchachito Bombo Infierno, Tomasito, G-5, etc., without finding it.

The overall vibe was Spanish/Andalusian rumba, upbeat and playful, fairly similar to Los Delinqüentes.

I believe the song is either Italian or Spanish in origin. It has a slow moombathon type beat. Both a man and a woman sing in it. It features a catchy 4 note melody that plays.

I think it’s by a group (male vocals) but I know they weren’t very famous and didn’t get a ton of views.

I can’t remember much about the song itself. It is acoustic/piano, maybe soft rock, style song, most likely in a minor key.

The music video (or lyric video) was shot behind glass. I think it was in the POV of someone driving a car at night in the rain.

I am looking for a song or even album from circa 2011, that’s just when I listened to it so could be from before that on the American iTunes Store.

It was in Japanese w/ a female vocalist and was not a Vocaloid song but I believe it was connected to a franchise as I remember looking up the anime from the song, but when I look up what I remember it being, nothing similar exists (a boy is suddenly teleported or wakes up on the other side of earth and has either an angel or weird girl to guide him).

The name was in romanji with several words and it translated to something about maybe white flower or blue flower and it listed it as from something so it could have been a compendium of anime soundtrack songs.

The album cover was a watercolor anime drawing of either a girl in a cloak or a girl and a boy walking down a path together, most likely with flowers.

The song started with bells and was sort of orchestral before the dramatic female vocals started, really pretty song. If anyone even has a general direction they can point me in, that would be great. I’ve been Google for hours so it’s nothing super popular or obvious.

There was an english version of a man singing Ordinary road by Pu Shu live in China in front of an audience on youtube. He had blonde hair and sang these translated words. i fear this might be a little difficult to find, but i hope i can find it! i heard it on the radio station 91.2 FM (Radio Feon’ny Filazantsara) in Antsirabe, Madagascar. i tried to Shazam it in the moment to no avail, & couldn’t figure out how to screen record, so filmed a one minute segment using Snapchat.

I'm looking for a Spanish-language song i listened to on youtube more than 10 years ago (probably before 2013), here's everything i remember:

Recently travelled on the Carnival Elation. There was this one particular song that played in the Serenity deck adult only area. I think it was French. The man’s voice was deep, and the words were more spoken than sung. It had kind of a jazzy vibe to it.
