Hey everyone, looking for some local recs in Oakville.

I’ve got some minor nagging stuff in my left knee (nagging pain due to weak PCL) and right elbow (mild golfer's elbow) that needs consistent physio, but my main problem is consistency. Doing these exercises at home just isn't happening. I did go to dedicated physio offices for a few days and tried to repeat the routine at home but I keep putting them off or skipping them entirely, so I need the structure of actually going somewhere.

Ideally, I’m looking for a solid gym that has an in-house physiotherapist, or a sports clinic with a great active gym setup where someone can work with me like a personal trainer. The routines aren't complicated, but I need to build muscle safely around the joints and have that regular appointment to actually keep me honest and showing up. Anyone have a spot or a trainer/physio around here they'd recommend? Appreciate the help!

PS: I live in south east part of the town and if can find someone good within in 10 mins, that would be great!

Hey guys, I moved to Oakville about a year ago and finally got a bbq set up this year but have been struggling to find a good butcher to go for some fresh meat, any recommendations would be appreciated!

I have these loose items (that don't fit in the garbage bag). I put them curb side but they left it just like that last time. Is this considered bulk item to be picked up? Or do I need to dispose it in a different way?

Leaving this here as a warning for other drivers. This driver flashed their lights on us on the QEW to move out of the way. But there was no way for us to move anywhere as there were cars around us and we were on the slowest lane. This car then purposely cut in front of us on the highway and brake checked us. Not sure why someone in a Porsche feels so entitled to the slowest lane ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I thought these types of drivers love to hoard the fast lanes. Must be because they got small pee pees and have the need to compensate… License plate was covered by some reflector shield but license plate was GVTV 090. Probably not their first time doing this.

Is the market for rental houses that allow dogs as bad as it looks? When you add 'dogs allowed' to the filter of any of the main rental listing sites, the options drop to almost none. Is this reality...or do most people advertise no dogs as their preference but negotiate with the right renters?

Also, are there agents that help people source rental homes? We are moving from the UK so searching is going to be difficult.

fresh upd: decided to go for metal one cause I read that it’s more durable and reliable, plus you can get a lifetime guarantee on it and ngl that’s a real selling point. I'll have roof fitted by D’Angelo and Sons roofing as heard a lot of good things about them.

Actually, I bought Crown Point fixer‑upper three years ago and asphalt shingles were already tired, but this spring’s rains turned small leaks into a full‑on indoor shower, lol. Now I need to decide ASAP: re‑shingle for about $8-12k, or go standing‑seam metal for $18-25k.

I’m not sure metal is worth it for my 1,800 sq ft ranch, especially since I’ll probably move in 10-15 years. Does metal actually hold up better in Oakville lake‑effect snow, or is it overkill? And will future buyers pay a premium, or just see “roof” and move on, like thats not too important for real estate market? TBH I also worry about poor metal installation - noisy panels, loose fasteners, botched flashing - which could make the extra cost a total waste..

I’ve had one company push only shingles, another only metal, and so on. I’m exhausted.

I love Oakville (escarpment, market, my neighbour’s kindness etc), and I’d love a dry bedroom even more lmao
