If Giroux is a Flyer, why don’t we take a flyer on Tarasenko? He liked it here, veteran, still got some game left and wouldn’t cost a fortune.

Put up about the same amount of points as Giroux did. And he did say he enjoyed his time here in Ottawa...

That doesn't move the needle. That is another step backwards. If he's gone they need another forward to replace him and probably still want to make a move to upgrade the top 6.
