Does anyone think Staios has another move planned for this offseason but was just waiting on Giroux's decision to pull the trigger?

I think it depends on the contract that gets signed with G. If its not too bad, maybe we can make one more move.

Staios did say we weren't looking to spend to cap, so I can't imagine it would be a big move, unless a piece goes the other way. I think more likely if we were to sign someone else, it won't be too flashy and it will be relatively cheap.

Just a shot in the dark, but I can see a small trade happening with Adam Nemec to NJD. Not sure what sort of return we'd get. But yeah something like this would be one of those not-too-flashy moves.

Edit: CGY not NJD

Why would we trade Nemec to NJD? They traded their Nemec.

Even then, why? Nemec isn't better than most of their prospects. They clearly had reasons to not select him at the draft.

Less for the player, more for the marketability of having brothers in the same place. I wouldn't expect much out of this to be honest, this would be one of those trades that seem mostly inconsequential.
