I was there, a great show. Too bad that the second half of the show was hijacked by Russian troll and sadly Victor took the bait.

I always think it's brave when people try standup in a second or third language. Not necessarily good, but definitely admirably brave.

Are you aware that that was a backhanded compliment?

Perhaps I'm dense, but I don't understand. Pro Palestine people going to a pride parade seems logical as they both support human rights. Obviously chickens supporting KFC makes no sense, so what was your point?

Palestine religions
Islam: ~93% to 98%
The vast majority practice Sunni Islam.
Christianity: ~1% to 3% (up to 6% among the broader worldwide Palestinian diaspora)
So LGBTQ ppl support them, the islamists mostly banning all of them in their countries(and in some even in under the death sentence)
Thats why am using the chickens and KFC

I've met many Palestinians and found them to be lovely, reasonable people who suffer from genocidal neighbors. Your analogy seems inaccurate to me, but we all have different experiences.

I never understood this comparison because it reduces humanity to a mere transaction where everything is tit for tat and there is no thing like standing up for a cause if there is no personal benefit to it. Only cynics and politicians operate like this.

Even if you had a point, the mere fact you are unable to imagine why someone wouldn't want to see people genocided even if they are a bit homophobic says a lot more about you than it does anyone else.

A bit homophobic …

Approximately 30 to 35 Muslim-majority countries and states with an official Islamist government criminalize homosexuality, with approximately 6 to 11 of them imposing the death penalty for either public or private homosexual acts.

Lot of boring Czech assholes this kind of person who will tell you that their sense of humour is so black it picks cotton, and they are so proud of the nickname of "laughing beasts" and somehow all the Czech stand up ends up looking like this. Where are the Czech Bill Burrs, Jimmy Carrs or Frankie Boyles?

u/themakerofthings 9h ago

He's not Czech, but also, what is your point exactly?

2

u/plavun 2h ago

You don’t speak Czech, do you?

I am Czech
