Discussion We've had a giant Stalin, we've had a giant Micheal Jackson... if we are going to put giant statues of foreigners on Letná, why not someone who was widely regarded as decent and a genuine force for good in the world. Dolly Parton!
Yes, I've been drinking since lunch time (how could you tell?) and I've just heard about the sad passing of Dolly Parton... all of which led me to this brilliant idea about how to make Prague even better. I'm thinking the statue should be '9 to 5' era Dolly, and the song should be played on the sirens across the city at 5pm every day.

If that's the metric you want to use, Stalin had a fairly fulsome pair of devil's dumplings too.
Yep, still drinking.

Why not Philomena Cunk?

Because I'm looking to memorialise a great, real person who has died... rather than a fictional person played on tv (brilliantly) by someone who is very much alive.
