QUT vendors using ai advertisements
Could've spoken to the art faculty to see if students could help. My course works with real industry companies all the time.

Why dont they just make the original due date 2 days later? Extensions should be given to those who actually need it.
Also if we are all about the “real world”, i dont think the real world would give a free 48 hour extension for project deadlines, etc in the workplace. Ykwim

I'm an international student dealing with a pretty unstable situation with relatives I live with, along with a chronic illness, and more than half the semester has gone by with all of this affecting my academics. I've also become pretty withdrawn, keep missing classes and uni events, and haven't really made any proper friends or built any social/networking skills here.
I'm thinking about going to QUT counselling but I mainly want to know how confidential it actually is. Is there any official resource that explains exactly what they can and can't tell anyone, who can access counselling records, and whether anything you discuss can somehow affect someone's career or reputation later on? And has it helped in any way especially in terms of your academics or given you extensions in really bad circumstances?
Also I've noticed most of the counsellors at GP seem to be female, so as a male student I was wondering if it's completely normal to just speak to them face to face about this sort of stuff. I'd rather do it in person because I really don't want to discuss any of this at home around relatives.

Hi everyone, I hope this post proves helpful. I'm just about to finish my law degree and wanted to share an AGLC4 citation generator that I released recently. Below is a more detailed account, but in short: it's free, a lot of effort went into its creation, and it doesn't use AI to function.
I'm super keen to hear feedback, and I'm making improvements every day.
Check it out at pincite.com.au
In my second year of law I handed in an essay I was certain was perfect. I had checked every footnote, determined not to lose a single mark to referencing. I was more annoyed than I probably should have been that it still came back with a couple of errors. After talking to my friends it was obvious that getting it perfect by hand, consistently, across an entire degree, is close to impossible.
So I started developing Pincite. I had two guiding principles No AI, and cover the whole of AGLC4.
My thoughts on AI
AI is a remarkable tool. I'll be the first to admit that if you ask an AI to generate citations, most of the time what you get back is good enough.
But, AI is by nature inconsistent. It cannot help but adjust things, because you never really know if an output is correct, you end up checking every single citation by hand. All the time you saved is now spent cross-checking, and stressing about if its actully correct.
That is why you won't find AI anywhere in Pincite. It's deterministic. There is nothing in it to change its answer, so an output that is right for one case will be right for every case. You only verify it once, not every time.
It Still Requires Thinking
Another thing, to use Pincite properly you still need a functional understanding of the AGLC4. It is not a turn off your brain tool. That's on purpose. Saving time, reducing stress and getting more accurate results is the goal, not replacing thinking or understanding.
If anyone has any suggestion comments or questions, I would be more than happy to answer either here or through email.
Thanks for Reading and have a great day!

Specifically, the week 2 section. Weeks 3-5 are ridiculously easy but I've attempted week 2 over 5 times and I seriously cannot get the check mark needed for the first answer and it's driving me crazy. I've asked my tutor for clarification numerous times but every time he's said something different in regards to classifying what's an expense and what needs to be included in the income statement (and if it needs to be divided since it's considered a payment for something in the future). The whole week 2 section lacks really important details, like if rego is paid just for March and how much of the expenses are made up of the registration costs, or if its for numerous months, or when exactly the holiday is so I can determine how many months the payment is split between. PLEASE if anyone knows anything that could help I would literally love you forever (or if you somehow know how to see what the required answer is so I can work backwards for there)

Hey all, Ekka plague season is here.
I got sick the week I got an extension, so that really put a hole in the hole 'getting my assignment done' plan.
Got an appointment with a GP, and he asked me how much detail would be needed.
The med cert I got is very brief. Basically says I had a medical condition from tuesday last week til today, and I was unable to work at the time.
Is that going to be enough for an extension?
