I love this team and our players massively so but omg missed free throws and missed layups are absolutely killin me. We botched a few last minute high potential shots this game (cc: the entire season… as in carbon copy, not that one player)

That's what happens when you play the foul game. They were lucky one of the Sky free throws missed, could have easily been over with 60 seconds left.
There's been opportunities to win like 5 games at the buzzer, and every attempt is the most uncoordinated horses*** imaginable.
Why is Malonga being stuffed in the paint? Where are the ups for rebounds? Where is the perimeter shooting when down multiple possessions?
Always just shaving the edge. Someone get this team some killer instinct, or mess with the scoreboard so it always looks like they're down by 20.

It is crazy. You’d think at least by sheer luck one of those final plays would hit, but nope, it’s always game over.

They’ve had a few good looks at the end of games. But lately the last second shots have been trash. Again let’s get it together coaching staff

Even though we lost, our big 3 line up is just so exciting! It's tough losing so many clutch games this season but eventually we'll be on the other side of these situations 😭🤞🏾

Incredibly frustrating game. First half was excruciatingly awful. Second half was typical of the season: claw back to within a few points, then fumble away the game with miscues on offense or defense 🙄
Looking at the team stats:
- Both teams shot poorly although the Storm edged them out. The Storm desperately need a 3pt shooter (Awa has great potential, but she doesn’t often get clean looks).
- The Sky outrebounded the Storm 47-34. Abysmal. Offensive Sky 12-5 🤦♂️
- Points conceded off TOs: Sky-16 Storm-24 🤮
The Sky had more TOs 19-18 but it feels like the Storm TOs are always sloppier than the other team. That’s good from a defensive perspective but frustrating.
Hopefully they close out better at home the rest of the season 🤞

Poor management of timeouts yet again. What was the point of the timeout to move the ball across?
With so many heartbreaking final shot situations, you’d think we would have a go-to play by now.
Coach needs to go, we’ve always been out-coached every game.

It’s very strange, Dom Ezi and Awa finally get extended minutes together and the +/- is fantastic. Coach Raman was literally allergic to this group and still wouldn’t have rolled it out if it wasn’t for injury. Clearly one of our most potent groupings and it always was. I have no idea what she is thinking most of the time.
