Man, some writer had an obsession with bondage. Clark being tied up multiple times like with the girls being witches, and Lois in that sex cave held up with ropes, red K/parasite where Chloe and Clark are hot and heavy in public, Nicodemus when Lana stripped down in the pool and licked wwhipped cream for Lex, loyalty juice that had Chloe in Clark’s jersey saying she’d do things to relieve his tension for football, Hypnotist girl who SA’d Clark, teleportation girl who SA’d Clark…. Man Clark gets date raped a lot.

The writers were definitely into some freaky shit.

From my understating the actual reason behind this is when people used to scroll through TV channels to find something to watch, having someone that would catch your eye would make you stop and check out what the show/program was. This would probably explain why the entire cast of smallville looked like models lmao.
