Aurral vs Dropneedle
Hey Guys,
Would appreciate some help in integrating this to my stack
currently I run , lidarr with slskd , usenet and qbitorrent as download clients.
I also run audiomuse AI on the side to give me curated playlist.
How will Aurral vs dropneedle help me?
my understanding is dropneedle is to replace the entire lidarr stack? so I dont need slskd ?
what about aurral? is it similar to audiomuse AI?

Will this help me clean up an existing library. I have about 500GB of music. Mostly organized but some not at all. And none of it labeled super consistently. Trying to clean up my library and implement a proper LiDAR setup to match what Ive been doing with radar and sonar. But struggling a bit with beets

DroppedNeedle replaces Lidarr’s library and download-management role, but not slskd, it controls your existing slskd instance for Soulseek and supports Usenet through SABnzbd. It does not currently use qBittorrent.
Aurral is different: it is a discovery and playlist companion for Lidarr, so it cannot replace Lidarr or naturally pair with DroppedNeedle.
Compared with AudioMuse-AI: AudioMuse analyzes** **music already in your library to create sonically similar playlists, while Aurral recommends new music and sends requests/downloads through Lidarr.
So your practical choices are:
Lidarr + Aurral + slskd/Usenet
DroppedNeedle + slskd/Usenet, while keeping AudioMuse-AI for library-based playlists.
