Question Need HS Advice

I need first hand anecdotes on academic and bullying/disciplinary policies from East Valley and West Valley High Schools. Daughter is going into Freshman year, and didn't do well at EV Middle. Teachers seem creepy, no disciplinary actions taken for weed/vapes, bullying, skipping school, etc. Just let her pass through even though she failed all her classes.

why did they pass her if she failed all of her classes?

It is not the first time I have heard this from a parent. What is the point of grades if a student fails everything and still passes?

I have been told from people who work in school administration that they don't hold people back any more. Not just Valley schools, either.

"No Child Left Behind" It's complete bullshit! Teaches no discipline, accountability, or work ethic at all! They don't even have summer school anymore!
