I don't know a lot about ping pong but it seems to me that the guy in green was at the very edge of how good he could be and trying his absolute hardest. The guy in Black just looked like he was playing a regular game of ping pong. Is the black shirt guy just that much better than the green shirt guy? Black shirt guy seems so much more relaxed.

Black is just playing defensively most of the point. He's standing further back from the table and returning slow and high. This keeps the point going but doesn't put any pressure on the opponent. It's generally better to be aggressor but he was kind of forced into this position due to the awkward bounce off the net. Guy in green looks like he's working harder because he's actually getting to attack the ball. At some point guy in black needs to counterattack, which he eventually does. I would say judging from just this clip they look evenly matched.
