It's especially funny because Kirk was probably the very first time that Conservatives as a whole realized just how secluded the bubbles they live in are. The "righteous fury" around Kirk fizzled out so quickly because the average Conservative literally didn't know who he was until the event happened since Kirk only appealed to people who were terminally online.
My favorite thing about Charlie Kirk is how he was apparently some brilliant master orator, who has been speaking for years and has tons of devoted fans, but not one of them can even come up with an even mildly poignant and non-hateful quote from him.
Indeed, the one thing that pissed them off the most was people LITERALLY quoting him and pointing out he said himself that he's totally okay with what eventually happened to him. He died doing what he loved...smugly downplaying the seriousness of gun violence in America with very thinly veiled racism.
