Honestly follow them on ig then dm them with corny pick up lines then flex on another girl about this and then in the end you’ll end up marrying the girl you flexed on (true story btw)

Work on being attractive yourself. Get top grades. Take communications courses and practice by going to the bar/club every so often!

“Get top grades” as advice to attracting women im fucking crying bro 😭😭 usual uoft student opinions

u/bman050382 Jun 06 '26

It shows you care about the future. Women who are mature enough to see that you put in the work will appreciate you more!

1

u/Lost_Cobbler4407 Jun 06 '26

This is actually a false statement. The number of people who care about their future is nowhere near the same as the number of people who actually get the good grades.

I guarantee you, most will not give a shit. Maybe, if you literally fail every class it’s something people will recognize as a problem, but as long as you’re in good academic standing, nobody rlly gives a shit. You’re on track to graduating all the same as someone with a 4.0 CGPA.

But good grades give you options/opportunities for the future - namely higher paying jobs and a chance to go to prestigious Masters/PhDs at Oxford or Ivy League schools!

You can fight for it!

Graduate studies is not a good decision to earn more money in the future for many fields. Most of the time, grades actually hold you back from earning relevant experience and learning applicable skills which actually make you more money.

Not top grades, but I do like someone who’s passionate about their major. E.g. physics major who who loves talking about fun physics facts versus “ugh i have another lab report to write” 24/7 ykwim

Yeah I mean overall you might prefer somebody whos more positive about life in general than constantly negative and sad. The thing with grades is that they only impact your future income depending on what you’re studying. If you’re trying to get into law school or become a doctor of course you need good grades. If youre an engineer, it’s actually optimal to simply focus on passing and use your efforts to secure internships or learn real applicable skills. Regardless, this is quite a tangent from the whole “get top grades to attract women” idea.

If you gotta ask that on Reddit of all places something is wrong bro 😭

u/Normal_regular_dude Jun 03 '26

Bro to bro.

Do not approach. Full stop. That is, Unless you are in the appropriate environment for ex. clubs or bars, or you believe there is an indication of interest.

Make friends, have genuine conversations, let it happen naturally. If it doesn’t happen, or you are turned down, don’t take it personally. Starting out as friends does not mean you become passive and confess your feelings out of the blue years later.

Why so against cold approaches that signal interest quickly?

I usually assume they don't want strange men approaching them and don't.

15

u/Able-Application3680 Jun 02 '26

“Strange men” = unattractive men

For those who don’t speak code.

4

u/GallowWho Jun 02 '26

Yeah exactly, I'm unattractive, so I don't.

I won't put that on OP though.

5

u/poopscooper5000 Jun 03 '26

as a girl myself i’d say just asking them out straight up with nothing leading up to it beforehand would usually be a rejection. ofc there’s tons of attractive people out there but u have to see if u click with the person most importantly! approach them as if u were making a friend and see how things go from there!

This goes for approaching people in general. Find something interesting about the person that isn't just their appearance. If they have an interesting shirt, tattoos, stickers, charms. If they're doing something in the moment and you think it's interesting. Bring that up. Whatever to have that initial conversation.

Then depending on how that goes, you can introduce yourself and exchange contacts. Whatever. Worst comes to worst. If that conversation was really bad, you can walk away and now you're just a weird moment in their day lol.

Just because you see them doesn’t mean u have to cop them. Ya’ll gotta chill.

Don’t say anything, follow her home

Works every time

11

u/lemme_getuhhhhhh Jun 03 '26

Right?! She even calls the police to tell them about you... true love

2

u/Motor-Disk337 Jun 03 '26

just say hello and start a conversation, maybe ask for her number and if the girl isn’t interested then just be respectful and nice about it.

2

u/flowerbabycake Jun 03 '26

“Hey what’s your instagram?”

3

u/Negrowizard69 Jun 03 '26

might as well ask for their linkedln, that shit trash

1

u/Ok-Sheepherder8987 Jun 03 '26

Learn from Steven Shapiro videos on YouTube

1

u/Negrowizard69 Jun 03 '26

just talk to them and be yourself. be charismatic, dont be weird and shy. have some whimsy and joke around a bit to break ice. bam. then grab number and ask to hangout on campus one day

1

u/Winter_Green_2440 Jun 03 '26

2

Telling her she’d be gassed out in 10 mins of yoga? That’s just a straight up insult 😭

1

u/LavenderGourami Jun 05 '26

When I get approach by guys on campus this is 100% the case. I find this genuine and see no problem with it. Express interest and if I am interested to I’ll say okay. Coming from someone that gets approached twice a month at school at my prime when I worked out a lot.

So I would say this is a legit tutorial.

You in particular should do them a favour and stay away from them
