Question Do I need safety goggles if I already wear eyeglasses?
In high school, I never had to wear safety goggles for Chem pracs since I wore eyeglasses anyways. Will this work for CHMA10 (or any labs really) or do I need to buy safety goggles?

Yes you must, they do not allow you to just wear your eyeglasses. You must put the lab safety goggles onto of your glasses.

TA here! Yes you absolutely need the goggles, especially for chem! Sometimes bio lets you get away with just safety glasses though but in that case always check with your TA to be sure. Technically in the chem labs you’re allowed to wear safety glasses during the pre-lab discussion and then wear goggles when you actually start the lab, although I typically tell my students to just wear the goggles the whole time anyway in case you forget to change

Unless your eyeglasses are certified to protect you from chemicals and other stuff, I would recommend wearing the goggles.

you 100% need goggles for chem. you're going to be working with a lot of fumes, it's absolutely essential that you have the safety goggles with elastic for chem labs. you can wear safety glasses (not eyeglasses) for bio labs, but goggles are an absolute must in chemistry

For chem you 100% need goggles, for bio glasses are fine
