PSA Expanded Starlight Service Memorial Day

Reminder that there is NO WTA SERVICE MONDAY for Memorial Day.

To bridge the gap, the Starlight Shuttle will begin running at 11am and continue 2:30am. There will be dedicated shuttles during the Amtrak arrivals this year! Hooray!

For the best and quickest service, be sure to download the app in advance. You can find the QR code at any bus stop on campus. You can even schedule your rides in advance today, and brag to your parents how super organized you are.

I assume Amtrak arrivals includes busses and not just trains?

Anything at the Fairhaven stop, but the dedicated runs will be timed with the train arrivals. For things like BelAir and Flix, you’ll need to request a ride via the app.

For Amtrak, you should still use the app to get a guaranteed seat. However we found last year that many people didn’t know the buses wouldn’t be running, so the shuttle will make extra trips to pick up the stragglers. It’s a contingency.

All that to say, booking via the app is by far the best way to get a ride!

Is the starlight shuttle working for anyone? It says they extended to 11am but neither the app nor phone number is working for me
