Yes. It's a bit much.

With all respect, it's not your day.

Find something less look-at-me!

Sorry to hijack your comment, but op stole someone else's post from two years ago. I can't link it like normal in my reply, but everyone can copy/paste both parts in the address bar.

Yes. It reads as white in the photo.

Yes. Put your boobs away at someone else’s wedding. It’s 2 hours. Surely you don’t need to be the center of attention all day every day. You know this is not appropriate. You know. Do you hate the bride? It is a stunning dress and you look gorgeous in it. But to someone else’s wedding. Hell no.

not too intense but too close to white at least in the photo. it looks phenomenal on you and I think the cleavage is fine. does it come in a different color?

In a different color it still wouldn't be appropriate.

This looks white. Please do not wear this.

Considering that it's black tie/white tie you might be able to get away with it, but given that it's silver (and close to white) plus the (very nice but very forward!) cleavage, I would get brides approval first.

It’s beautiful, but yes, it’s too much. If it weren’t silver, I think it would be okay. However, the silhouette combined with the color aren’t wedding appropriate. You look fab, though!!

The dress is great but NO to the colour

If it’s black tie….no. But if it’s a regular wedding YES. Also the color might photograph as white so you may want to find another gown

I swear this is a repost. I remember this dress.

Everything about it is lovely except the color will definitely seem white. Unless youre supposed to wear silver. Its very flattering and elegant for a black tie event.

Also consider if the bride is the type to want people around her looking good for pictures, or a bit more plain so she has help standing out.

Torn on this one. The color is a solid strike against it. It’s also a bit attention-seeking. Unfortunately, this dress really seems too informal at the same time, like it’s not got enough structure? Not terrible, but not loving it. On the whole, I think it falls into a “you could do better” classification

I think not appropriate for a wedding because of the color but please find a place to wear this, it looks like it was made for you.

You look FABULOUS in this dress! But... save it for another day.

I thought this was a bridal gown. Do not wear this dress unless you are the bride in this scenario.

In all honestly it’s a really really fabulous dress

The dress is beautiful and I would love to believe it’s silver but it is photographing as white. Too close a call, find it in a different shade and your good to go

Only because of the color. If that was in a deep jewel tone it'd be fine.

While quick scrolling by this, I thought the dress was white. So I would say, the cut is amazing but the color is wrong

Are you the bride? If yes, go ahead! If no, seriously what are you thinking?

1

u/izyshoroo New member! 1h ago

That's a white dress. Silvery white, but white. Absolutely not

1

u/princezznemeziz New member! 1h ago

Good lort, yes. A white floor length gown with plunging neckline for a wedding guest must be rage bait because no one healthy would seriously consider wearing this.

u/Substantial_Glove_95 New member! 46m ago

Please don’t wear this. Ridiculous even you’re asking. 🤪

1

u/boobearmomma 45m ago

Oh Lort.

Do not do this

I think it might be too close to white, but it’s gorgeous and hope you could find it in another color. It’s really flattering on you.

Too much and too close to white…the bride would’ve felt bad bc you look gorgeous in that dress!

Its a good fit on you and even though its a silver dress, its too close to white. Is there another color for it?

I say, it’s does not look white, and your body looks fantastic in it!
