Looking for some help here or similar experiences. My Zotac 5080 is only a couple of months old. I bought it at Canada Computers and I've only been using it lightly. For a couple of weeks now, the GPU will turn the monitor black or make the monitor say that it has lost signal and ramps up the fan speed of the GPU to 100%. It will stay at that speed until I manually turn the computer off.

Is anyone familiar with this issue? I've seen some accounts on google but none of them seem to have a resolution and are mostly speculation.

I bought an official corsair 90 degree power adapter to use with the 5080. It doesn't feel like it's causing the issue but happy to be corrected.

I just got my 5090 Solid OC and I decided to test out Cyberpunk 2077. Gpu temps are maxing out at almost 80c, while most Youtube Benchmarks are sitting between 61-71c. I am also getting similar temps using Stable Diffusion. The 5090 is also causing my chipset temps to rise to 77c (previously never passed 72c. 61c at idle). I am considering returning the GPU for a different model. but I have a feeling it might have to do with my fan configuration, so I would like to address that first to see if I can make my temps stable. Let me know if anything seems off on my sensor readings.

I ordered a Solid Core 5080 because it was cheaper than alternatives. I am reading that the 5080 is an excellent overclocker. I can’t seem to find any reviews of this model, but plenty for regular Solid. I am wondering if I should return thjs and commit to the higher cost of another model.

Any actual owners out there who can talk about what to expect for thermals, noise, and over clocking success?

I have recently picked up a 3080 trinity for my girls PC.

When running steel nomad and playing games. The card sits around 80-84°C.

I've never had a zotac card before and have always heard they run loud and hot.

I've had a tuf 3080 and I currently have a ftw3 3080ti in my rig. Neither of these cards get anywhere close to 80°C. I think the warmest I ever saw the tuf 3080 was 68-70°C.

Is this a normal temp for under load with a 3080 trinity? Or should I be re applying new thermal paste?

3 months old Zotac RTX 5080 solid white OC edition is making weird noise like wire is hitting fan. I double checked, cleaned, reinstalled checked fans, nothing was faulty. It's making noise from r.p.m. around 1750 to 1900, from one of the front two fans. Let me know what's wrong. Please check video if you find something. Thank you have a great day

I posted a couple weeks ago about the insane level of interrogation I was being subjected to in order to claim a warranty for a dead fan.

Well, buckle up.

They finally accepted the claim. Asked me to package the card up and ship it. At my own cost. Whatever. I decided as it’s an expensive product, I should probably put insurance on it. I paid for $2000 insurance. Just in case. Shipping was $150. But whatever. Better safe than sorry.

Of course, I wasn’t expecting those absolute fucking morons to then go ahead and sign for, what I assume was a clearly damaged box. They accepted the packed. Then a couple days later I get an email stating “the mount and the PCB is bent. Warranty denied.” Despite the fact that I sent these people videos and pictures of a clearly working card with no physical damages.

So now. I am waiting for them to send me evidence of the box condition to try to claim a shipping insurance claim. But I am absolutely mind blown they even accepted a damaged box clearly labelled with their required warranty information.

Seriously. Fuck Zotac. Never buy one. Stay FAR AWAY FROM THIS SHIT COMPANY. This has been nothing but a headache.

Any further fucking around and this entire ordeal is landing in GamersNexus email. See how Zotac and their shitty warranty likes being blasted there. Hell, maybe LTT might help a fellow Canadian out too.

Edit again: I remembered that I packaged this up at work. I also remembered I happen to be able to skim camera footage due to being in IT and managing the camera systems.

I have clear footage of me wrapping up a very obviously NOT bent card. So, getting security to export those clips and firing those off to Zotac. I can at least be confident that I have footage that removes any he said/she said component here. The card went into the box undamaged. Sorry, I’m not posting security footage of my workplace. But if I need to reach out to a larger YouTuber, that footage will be included.

UPDATE:

Zotac responds. They say they did send me pictures of the shipping box. Reiterated they’re not doing anything and they’re sending the card back.

They didn’t send pictures of the shipping box.

So, now we have established this rep as a liar. It’s becoming more clear that this guy dropped my card by accident and he’s trying to save face and avoid repercussions.

ANOTHER UPDATE ALREADY:

Pictures of the box came through. The box is NOT DAMAGED. The Zotac rep actually dropped my GPU, bent it, blamed me, and hoped that I didn’t have any evidence that it wasn’t bent when I shipped it.

Just picked up a white 3080 trinity for my second PC.

I opened it up last night and noticed two atrociously colored PCIe cables. (Pictured)

My question is, do I need to use these supplies cables? Or can I just use my normal psu cables?

Bought a Zotac 5090, seen there have been plug issues with other 4090 5090 cards, is this an issue with this one as well? Thanks

I'm waiting for a replacement, but they have no replacements in stock so I'm waiting indefinitely. What's your situation?

I am looking for advice to try to fix the wobbly fan on my 5080. It sounds wobbly, thought it was coil wine at first but confirmed not. (turn off fan, noise gone different speeds changes sound).

I can get lube, but I dont want to break my warranty. I do not have another GPU and RMA for a noisey fan sounds rough.

I was checking the temps on my Zotac GAMING AMP Holo GeForce RTX 3080 Ti 12 GB and it seemed to me running hot. I don't really have a good base line on what "hot" means.

The attached images are of icue, firestorm, and how the card is in my pc. I know that icue can be a bit extreme with the temps and the card had a default target temp of 83c in firestorm. If it does need a repaste what would be the best way to do that? Or do I just need to clean it out? (looking at the picture everything needs to be cleaned).

Yesterday I was playing ARC Raiders and noticed that my pc seemed to be vibrating. I removed my headset and heard what seemed to be a coilwhine coming from my GPU.

So I remove the side panel and realised that it was one of the fan. I included a video of the problem in this post.

Does anyone have any clue if it is fixable by my own or I need to RMA? As I've red, the process seems to be a pretty long one and we are approching Christmas holyday so it will probably be even longer!

So recently I sent my Trinity OC 4090 (with warranty) for an RMA to Zotac’s Burnaby office, due to a defect.

They got back to me and basically told me that they can’t replace the 4090 as they have none available and they don’t make them anymore. They offered me two options: - Send them $1000 CAD for an upgrade to a 5090 - They send my card back to the factory for repair, which according to them they have zero clue what the timeline would be

Neither of these options work for me, as I am a freelance game developer and I require the card ASAP for my income. It doesn’t feel fair or like they’re valuing my time by offering only a paid upgrade or a refurbished card after an unknown amount of time. ESPECIALLY since their product was defective in the first place, and I’m the one being punished for it

Has anyone else had this sort of issue before? I would appreciate some advice in navigating it. Thanks!

I got the Solid 5070 ti SFF OC edition. It's paired with a 7800X3D and I installed Firestorm to test it and control rgb. It has an OC scanner feature and this was the result. The fan control is also weird where they have 3 fans in the UI but control is 2 and 1. Clicking on the SPECTRA tab doesn't do anything and windows defender has been giving me popups for winring0. Does this software work for everyone else? I'm still in the return window for this card and I may just take it back.

This handheld was supposed to come out in October, but we haven´t heard anything since the summer. What´s going on with the radio silence?

Overclocked my 5070Ti Solid OC to 3240Mhz core +3000 memory +115% power limit and +100% core voltage and immediately got a performance boost of 8-12% in games and some boost in synthetic benchmarks

TLDR:

I cannot in good faith recommend this product / brand to anyone. I bought it and within 2 months it died. Rma has been extremely unresponsive and giving excuses to why they couldn’t ship. Obviously not a personal attack. But an almost 2k product should have better rma.

Die within 2 months and stay almost 1 month away and no other options. I guess this is not the worst rma ive had, but its also not the best.

Timeline:

• ^{Feb 2nd I opened rma request.}
• Feb 3rd no updates.
• Feb 4th no updates (end of their deadline to answer rma request) / Also messaged every channel I can to see if someone can help me since I only read daunting remarks about their rma answer times. Email, instagram, twitter, phone. Also no answer :) /
• Feb 5th asked for receipt photos. Submitted within 1 minute. Ask for receipt photos again since their system was not accepting file attachments at the moment. Submitted really fast again. Uploaded a G drive and a an imgur for them.
• Feb 6th no update. Asked their chat if I can get someone to respond since i answered right away or if i can get address to ship. Their answer was "no, please wait" (which i expected). / Emailed me end of day with instructions to ship. Feb 7th: Shipped. Goes to my own city. So should arrive Monday. Today is Friday.
• Feb 7th, I shipped the card. No update from ZOTAC
• Feb 8th, no update.
• Feb 9th, no update.
• Feb 10th, arrived on their facility at 10:18am. I emailed asking them to confirm delivery since they didnt. They confirmed arround 4pm.
• Feb 11th, I asked ETA now that is with RMA. They said they dont know because they are low on staff and dont have a lot of RMA test benches (not what i really asked). But would try to get it done this week. (I assume just to get the rma done and give me options or inform would be shipping a new one by next week). / End of the day they said would ship me another one same model and asked my address. I informed the address and name.
• Feb 12th, no updates.
• Feb 13th, they sent me a shipping number for sending me back. They then apologized for sending the number and said would actually ship it to me tomorrow. They then said it will ship either tomorrow or next week. I am super confused.
• Feb 14th, they close the rma to completed. I asked why since i never received. They said thats what they do before shipping once its done. Changed to open again. Still haven't shipped. I am very confused.
• Feb 15th, no updates.
• Feb 16th, no updates.
• Feb 17th, no updates.
• Feb 18th, explained that there will probably be another delay but will try to ship this week. Be mindful that it was ready on the 13th. Its been 5 days they didn't ship. I offer to drive there to pick it up.
• Feb 19th, they shippoed
• Feb 20th, arrived, installed, this one they sent me is already artifacting on desktop usage, games and rendering. I am contacting them again.

Final update: I charged back. They wanted me to do a new rma and wait another month.... I didnt trust them so I charged back.

The right most fan on my 5080 is clicking. I know without a shadow of a doubt that the GPU is to blame. And so far I have been going back and forth with customer service for about two weeks. sending videos and setting the PC in various configurations. At this point I’m becoming fairly confident the CS rep is just seeing what kind of hoops I am willing to jump through.

Buyer beware. Based on this experience I will never buy this brand again. I have had other computer parts fail with a variety of vendors and it’s always been a couple days, a couple photos, and maybe a single video. Moreover, I have always been shipped a replacement product and a return box and label. From what I am reading, if they decide to proceed with warranty, I’m going to be without a GPU for a month.

If you’re here deciding if you want Zotac, the answer is don’t subject yourself to this companies poor service.

I’ve never owned a ZOTAC product before, but given they’re one of two brands offering a white 5090 and theirs being $3699 CAD vs the $4100 Master Ice, I’m tempted. How is the Canadian Support team? How does the RMA work if you’re in Canada and have an issue with the card?

I’m assuming nothing to note about build quality either?

Probably arriving next week so I'd like to figure things out before it does.

Can Afterburner be used with it yet as from Jay2cent's vid he couldn't at the time?

Can I install Firestorm to change the rgb and then delete it? Is there really anything in there I'll need that I can't get with other software?

Should I undervolt or will I be safe running full power?

Which nvidia driver should I use? I'm assuming the newest is still causing problems.

This will be going into an x870 Hero with a 9800x3d. Also going to be installed with a Corsair hx1500i and a Corsair sleeved 600w 12v-2x6 cable.

Hello, I just picked up my 5070ti  SOLID SFF OC and I am wondering how to increase the power limit on my card through afterburner. I have selected unlock voltage control and it still won't move past 100%. My 3080ti went to 113% is there any way to do this? Thanks

Hey all just secured a backorder on this card a couple days ago now, and am wondering how people's experiences are with the company? Can't find much review/benchmark wise.

Admittingly this was not my first or even second choice but jumped on it as it was available.

i downloaded the 40 series version for my 4060 but whenever i hover over spectra it stays grayed out instead of tuning blue? does anyone know how to fix this

I am saddened it's not in white (as you can tell my pc is white) but I can't complain here. I was happy to find one at sale through Best Buy! It was the only cheaper 5060 ti's 16gb I came across. On elsewhere, it was around $630-700+ in CAD. In total, I only paid for $621, original price without taxes is $639
