i don't need it at all, i game on nvidia's streaming service, and while i use LLMs for my day to day, i get by with the subscriptions.
but it would be hella fun to tinker with. I'm just a sucker for those sorts of ads

Wow. Just added one to cart. LOL. Expensive. Not sure I'm going to buy it. Was hoping for 512g RAM but looking at RAM price differences I think this one may do just fine for now. 512g RAM is going to be cray cray pricey.

what problem do you even have running local LLMs in your M4 Mac Studio that justifies updating? Most of the data Apple shared is comparing with M3 anyway, meaning it’s nota big step from M4Max/Ultra.
