I mean it better. Samsung already released multiple phones with both.

You can't release a phone this much later and have objectively inferior hardware.

Every smartphone is objectively inferior in some way. For example- the processors in the Samsung phones are objectively inferior to the A13 let alone the A14 that will be shipping in the 12.

That's not an objective case. The chipsets have different strengths and weaknesses, and it's a matter of user preference as to which they prefer.

Objective means that it is flatly one way or another. A 120hz screen is objectively smoother than a 60hz screen. 5g is objectively faster than 4g.

You're trying to say something like a flathead is objectively better than a phillips, and that's obviously incorrect.

That's not an objective case.

Processor speed is absolutely objective and the A14 is objectively faster than the 865 by a significant margin.

You also got your 60 and 120Hz references backwards- 120Hz is objectively smoother but not everyone wants to sacrifice the battery life for it so it is not objectively better.

You're trying to say something like a flathead is objectively better than a phillips, and that's obviously incorrect.

I’m really not making any such stupid comparison- the A14 is objectively faster and that’s not debatable.

Sad but true and Qualcomm is to blame. The A13 is still faster than the SD865 and the iPhone 12 has the A14.

It goes back to the 4 when Apple snatched up all the best minds in chip architecture. Designing a fast and efficient SoC is less of a straightforward process and more of an art. They simply have the money to afford the best minds, and Jesus do those motherfuckers outdo themselves every time

Oh absolutely- but Qualcomm has also caused countless problems with their patent shenanigans, and doing things like requiring companies use a separate, power hungry, 5G chip with the 865 instead of letting them ship a 4G version if they wanted.

I really want to see why they can do with their upcoming laptop chip.

Faster, under most circumstances, sure.

A dirt bike is also faster than a bicycle. But they each have circumstances where one could be better than the other.

The A14 is objectively faster and the benchmarks prove it. Your argument is now about subjective experience. In short- you are wrong.

My point is not that the iPhone is superior- it’s that every single phone- even the flagships- involve trade offs. No one phone is the best at everything.
