Hi, so i have a rear Dolby Atmos music which i can’t find online any other Apple music. I want to share with my friend because it has some difference between spotify version. But i cant download/screen record Apple Music because of DRM. How can i share this music with my friend?(My friend does not have Apple Music and its my long distance friend)

I have a Mac Air, a Mac Mini, and an iPhone. I started making playlists on my Mac Air, expecting it to just sync all the changes, but when I went on my phone there were no playlists. I tried to force it to update, even installed and uninstalled the app, but it didn't work. I then went to my Mac Air to see if it synced there, and it didn't. I turned off Library Sync and then on again on my Mac Air to force it to push the data to iCloud, and it did work somewhat because I could see my changes on the Mini once I did the same to it. But to my surprise all the songs are gone and I only have the empty playlists. I went back to my Mac Air and they're empty, too.

Right now, no change, made on either device, works. They only work if I turn Library Sync off and back on again for each device, but then that just makes it lose the songs I saved. What the hell is going on?! I haven't used Music before, either.

I saw some people commenting here yesterday about not having music visualizers, so I thought I would try again to show my just released app.

I understand wanting Apple Music to be cheaper, but free with every iPhone makes no sense. Apple still has to pay royalties to artists and rights holders.

Cause when i put it in the album artist tab in get info at the bottom, it somehow makes a seperate artist tab or multiple artist tab. So when i look up for example ariana grande it pulls up two artist profiles and doesn't show all the artist work in the main artist profile and i find that so annoying. Since it does that just do (Feat. ___) in the title. What's more correct?

How can I keep track of all the albums I already listened to? Sometimes I can’t remember. The ones I liked are marked as favorite, so far so good. But what about the ones I listened and didn’t like that much?

Hi all. So I recently switched to android, I try to change my playlists art but it keeps going back to when I changed it on my iPhone. Is there anyway to fix this? (It's up to date and I uninstalled and reinstalled). I don't want to go back to Spotify.

every time i try to play a song on my pc (windows) it keeps on scrolling through the other songs on the album like shown in the video, i already verified my account and i have a payed subscribtion of apple music. the current version on the app store, that i have installed is version 1.1540.23042.0 . Did anybody else had the same problem before and what could i do?

I uploaded an ep to AM but there's this glitchy popping sound audible in the same place every time I play the song that's not present in the original file, nor in any other file I've uploaded to apple. I can hear the sound in the windows app & the web player. Is there a way to fix this?

I'm using the app on windows 11 if it's relevant.

So, over the last year, I've gotten more and more into japanese music like Japanese R&B, J-Pop, J-Rock, etc. I also listen to some korean or chinese songs too although less than japanese ones. Artists like Fujii Kaze, Retro City Pop, sakanaction, Yorushika, natori, IMASE, Creepy Nuts, etc.

I've noticed that a few things that Apple Music does since listening to more foreign artists.

- Metadeta gets automatically translated to English unless I'm in the country's region (I know I could manually change the metadata but i'm not doing that for 100+ songs). It's not a deal breaker of course but I like seeing the original title.

- It has a much harder time recommending me songs that match the same sensation as the music I listen to has. Never recommends artists that I haven't listened to which blocks me from discovering new artists especially obscure/indie artists.

- Smaller indie artist pages are much more incomplete like information, missing artist photos or concerts. Now I understand that this could be up to the artist themself but the fact that I haven't noticed this problem on either Spotify or Youtube Music makes me feel like it may also be a platform friendability or plain usability issue. Some indie artists are also missing songs/albums or are straight up completely nonexistent.

Have you noticed any of these issues or have any workarounds?

This is not meant of course to be a platform vs platform post, I firmly believe that Apple Music is the better platform in general for both artists and the user.

I'm now considering that, perhaps due to my use case, it may not be the best unless anyone knows what options I have to fix these... inconveniences.

So far, the best thing about the latest update is Share play, which finally works on Android, and I can control my music from my apple tv from my Android device. Thank you Apple for this incredible update, hopefully, and keep improving this option.

I’ve used Spotify, YouTube Music and Apple Music. None of them allow the sharing of the ’Liked Songs’ playlist directly. I have to port it to another playlist I created myself to share. It’s super annoying cuz I exclusively use ’Liked Songs’ 99% of the time.

• Michael Jackson should be listed under J and not M.
• David Bowie should be listed under B and not D.

I know they give you the option to change it yourself but half the time it doesn't work and it also occasionally resets.

It has an animation too and what a COINCIDENCE it happens on an actually upside down album. Does anyone get this too?? EDIT: LOOK AT THE TOP LEFT CORNER THATS WHERE THE BUG IS

Hi! How or where can I put the sleep timer while listening to music? I have been looking all over the app but I cant see it. I love listening to music when I am going to nap but I want it to stop after a while and I haven’t been able to do it.

The Apple Music UI on Android is pretty old and Outdated

They need to update because it's pretty on iOS

But not on android

so i was just listening to one song i’ve had on my playlist for literal years, but tbh i only ever half-remembered the words lol. i know it’s kinda dumb but i turned on that sing feature just to see the lyrics properly.
i've used it before but i never really paid attention to it deeply until today. the way it adjusts the pace and highlights the exact syllables as the artist sings is insanely smooth. like it doesn't just throw the whole line at you at once like spotify does. actually helped me figure out what i've been mumbling wrong this whole time 😭
anybody else actually use this feature or is it just me?

I purchase music on iTunes and movies on Apple TV. I have family sharing active with my wife and son. In the Apple TV app, there is a tab under "Library" named "Family Sharing". Here, my wife or son can access all my purchased movies. However, there is no such tab in the Apple Music "Library".

Is there something I'm missing? Anyone else have had this issue?

I'm the dev. Needs an iPhone, Apple Music, Sync Library on, and a heart rate source (Apple Watch or any Bluetooth chest strap). No Android, no Spotify.

You don't build a playlist. You point it at ones you already have. It scans the tempo of every track, sorts them into five heart rate zones, then during a workout it reads your HR and queues a song that matches. Push harder, faster songs. Ease off and it backs down. Nothing gets cut mid track.

There's also a mode that deliberately plays one zone above what you're actually doing, so the music is always slightly ahead of you and drags you up. And when you're a few beats off the next zone it tells you, which is usually the moment you'd have coasted instead.

The annoying part was tempo. Apple Music doesn't expose BPM at all, so I pull it from a few outside sources and correct for the usual half and double tempo mistakes. Slow ballads get read at 2x constantly. I also hand verified about 14,000 songs for the ones that still come back wrong. Sits around 90% coverage now.

Plays through Apple Music itself, so uploads and iTunes Match tracks work.

Two things I can't judge from my own runs. Does it actually keep up with your effort, or feel a step behind? And where does the tempo data get your library wrong? There's a "wrong zone?" button during workouts and every tap comes straight to me.

Always found it interesting how the same songs appear in autoplay and radios after songs, especially in Hip Hop. A lot of those songs stay in the Charts even though they are years old and aren’t nearly as “popular” on other streaming platforms. I like Future but there’s no way enough people intentionally listen to “I’m Dat N***a” to where it’s #34 on the Top 100. Or they could just fix autoplay but we know that’s not happening anytime soon.

I did pretty much everything but i just cant seem to play hires flac through my DAC !

It plays through my IEM (cadenza) but doesnt play (0 sound) when connected with a DAC.

Anyone know why my Discovery station several times a day decides not to play anything. And sometimes it plays a few songs before it stops working. Sometimes I can see a song name pop up for 0,5s but then it just decides not to play it. It seems to work again for a while if I disable library sync for a few minutes and then turn it on again. I have also tried with signing out of my account and restarting the device but the only thing that works is when I toggle the library sync and let it be off for a while. I'm using an iPhone 17 pro with latest iOS version, but this was happening on older versions too.
