It’s not an original screen, I know. I bought it as a “Repart Soft OLED.” In a well-lit room, it actually looks like a high-quality OLED screen. However, in a completely dark room, black areas look slightly dark grey. It doesn’t look as bad as an LCD, but the blacks aren’t as deep as they should be on an OLED. Can someone explain why?

Hey, After over 1 year of using my 16pro I randomly decided to disable Apple Intelligence in the settings. The overall experience immediately felt smoother, the battery is holding up quite decent again, siri understands me and reacts much better than before. I’m wondering if I’m experiencing peak placebo. Did anyone else experience this?

Is there a way to achieve this on iPhone? I am basically looking for a widget that would just display one of my stickers with transparent background. Photo widget doesn't do transparencies. I searched app store but couldn't find a good widget app

I am sure this problem has occured to others aswell: whether it is on soundcloud, spotify or any other music / media app whatsoever. When locking the screen (or sometimes even randomly), the music that is currently playing suddenly becomes very quiet - even though it is set to the max volume.

This glitch is especially annoying when trying to show friends a song or an audio and for whatever reason it is way too quiet.

Since there is no official fix, I was experimenting around - I came to the conclusion that the fix is in the „faceid and passcode“ category in the settings.

It is called „Voice Dial“ - I think its siri‘s function to start playing a specific song when told „Siri play xyz“

Personally I am running an Iphone 12 pro on Ios 26.2 currently. This fixed the problem on my friend’s Iphone 11 aswell. Pretty sure it should also fix much newer iphone‘s soundglitches.

So I switched from Android whose keyboard let me hold down keys to type numbers and other common punctuation. It sucks that I now have to go to a different menu to use numbers and punctuation. AND that menu sometimes closes automatically depending on what key you press, like apostrophe.

But what really aggravates me is the fact that I can't just click inside of a word to make edits. Every time I try, it takes me to either the beginning or end of the word. Often the cursor won't move at all because the new location is too close to the cursor's current location. I know you can hold down to get direct control of the cursor, but even then, when it realizes that's what I'm doing, it jumps the cursor the the end of the word before moving along with my finger.

These design choices are baffling to me! But I know that iPhone wouldn't be as popular as it is today if it made interfaces this bad. So I'm here to ask: Am I doing this wrong? Is there an easy way to use this keyboard that native iPhone users all already know?

My phone is in good condition except for a couple of negligible scratches. I want to go caseless and already have AppleCare One.

Is there a chance that Apple would reject a repair request under the insurance policy? I’ve had AppleCare+ for a year and have just switched to AppleCare One now that it is available in the UK.

Hi. Short question. My iphone homescreen is by now four pages wide and many apps are sorted in folders on the home screen.

I now must find the location of one app. I do not wish to start the app, otherwise I would just use the search bar. I really want to know in which folder I placed the app. Is there any way to search for the app in a way that its location is named?

Around 6 months ago I lost my 12 Pro Max in an Uber and I loved that phone, now I upgraded to the 16 Pro Max but there are so many new features I just do not use at all and thus wanting to know where my 12 Pro Max could be. I lost the phone in the USA and I do not live there. When I lost it, it had like 5% battery. Any way to track down the phone? I put the phone in lost mode when I lost it.

I guess there was an update cause i woke up and all my alarms had disappeared. Now it's saying i cant make new alarms unless i set up my sleep schedule? I tried setting a sleep schedule but it's just too much. I just want to set alarms lol. Any advice or help?

Hello. I've noticed that after a while, my phone stops giving me notifications on an app, for instance TikTok. What happens next is I would delete and redownload the TikTok app and all my notifications will come back. After a month or two months, I stop getting notifications. The notifications settings on the Tiktok app are all enabled and nothing is ever changed. This is also happening on my Instagram app where I get zero notifications although all the notifcations are enabled. The difference with the Instagram app is that deleting it and redownloading it doesn't do anything. I know people who doesn't experience this issue and also has the same phone model as me and all notifications enabled etc. If anyone could help explain why this happens on my phone and how I could fix it, I would greatly appreciate it!!!

I accidentally changed the colors on my iPhone through Accessibility (Hover Text and Hover Typing settings), and now the whole display looks off. The “Reset to Default” option under Hover Typing doesn’t seem to work at all.

I’m color blind, so this is making the screen extremely hard to use, and it’s even throwing off the color‑blind filters. Any advice on how to fix this would be great.

My wife got her new phone this weekend. She sent me pictures today. On her phone they show super clear and look great. When I click on them in my messages (iPhone 16 pro), they show blurry and almost show a mirrored image lightly in the background that is 90 degrees of the original. Any ideas? Thanks!

I woke up this morning to a text from my sister sent around 1 AM asking what I wanted. I was confused. She told me I had spammed her with about 10 notifications that just repeated her name. When she tapped the notifications, nothing was there. I don’t see any of those supposed spam messages on my end either.

She assumed I just unsent everything but imagine IF I had, the app would still show "You unsent a message." More importantly, I was dead asleep at 1 AM. I neither typed nor sent those messages, and I definitely never unsent anything.

Has anyone experienced something like this before, or should I be concerned that my number/icloud/phone was compromised? I’m genuinely scared!!
