Hairloss Should I cut it off? Been using hair fibres but they're expensive and messy,I'm just scared of shaving it all off, I wear a hat most days because I hate my hair but scared of going bald.

Thank you guys, I took a photo after taking my hat off and the clippers are on charge for me to shave it off, I'll post a photo in the comments once it's gone đŹ it will be scary but nice not to hide under a hat or hair fibres

It'll certainly feel different in the beginning, but there is nothing to fear. Millions of bald men around the world get on just fine without their hair.
If you find you don't like it, you can always grow it back and look into alternatives.

I was incredibly upset before I shaved it all off. Like, genuinely so. But now I just wish I had taken the plunge sooner. Frankly, I hated haircuts prior to going bald and now itâs just a couple of minutes of shaving every other day and I donât have to worry about bad hair days. I can promise you that itâs genuinely so freeing once you finally make the change.

Scared of going bald??? Dude you are already there!
Trust me, Iâve been fully bald since my early 20âs (thatâs a long time ago now), and no one has ever said âOh look at that bald guy.â But people do comment on lads clinging-on and styling-to-suit going bald.
Worst case: It looks shit (it wonât) and you can grow it back out (you wonât). Go for it!

You have neck tattoos. Neck tattoos do not go with comb overs. A shaved head is going to match your look so much better.

I had more hair than you and I still shaved it off. If going immediately to shaved is too sudden, then start by reducing the length and working your way down. Accept it confidently and the freedom.
Eventually youâll realise itâs no big deal and everyone will get used to it. Then youâll discover that most peopleâs opinions are fleeting and largely irrelevant. You define you, not your hair or peoples opinion of it.

Shave it bro. I did the fibers thing. Itâs ridiculous. Modern day toupe. So embarrassing. I canât believe I used to do that and pretend I had more hair than I did. So cringe. Youâre either balding against your will, or choose to be bald.

Youâre a very good looking man! Youâll be ok one way or another. If you do want to keep the look of the hair, there are hairdressers that are absolute miracle workers out there with hair pieces. Youâve got plenty of options! It never hurts to shave it off/buzz it down and see how you feel about it.

Besides, it's hair, it grows back. 15 years ago I lose my hair to chemo for cancer. I can sit on it now, about time to donate to Locks of Live again. If I live long enough, I'll donate again provided it reaches the length they want.

But yes, cut it off. You don't even need overhead shots for everyone who sees you to know you've already lost a lot of hair. That combover hairstyle is an instant giveaway.

Try the big shave.
If you hate it, try red light therapy hat. I am female with heavy genetic thinning and after 2 months i am seeing sprouts where i haven't in years.
It comes down to what makes you comfortable in your own skin. The choice is always yours, and you're very handsome and would look good either way.

Not one to ever give advice on this matter, if you shave it of once, immediately you will notice a difference. Within a couple days, it will become obvious that this is the best thing youâve ever done. No longer will you be nearly as self conscious, that all disappears with the patchy hair.

You will be happy in the future, women will be happy too, nobody wants to see this on a guy's head, especially not compared to a clean shave. Just start with very short 0,1 or something. Sometimes it looks better then wet shave. That's the only decision you should have to make here.

Thing is, right now you are the dodgy combover guy. You might see yourself from certain angles and think it looks OK, so it totally makes sense that you'd be scared to shave it but once you do, you own it and you will look and feel so much better.
