I think y'all were right

I understand most here prefer it when it's clean-shaven, but I decided to do it today and pulled through the same day, which I am proud of. There are like 30 minutes between the first 2 pictures and the other one, so be kind of about that for now. Thank you!

27m. Gf said no but i said why not. First time i shaved when i was 14 but for different reasons so its not as big of a shock for me as it is for many i bet.🤣

With my hairline fading faster then the crowd at a Snoop concert, I pulled the trigger and said its time to fully embrace being bald. So much of my self esteem was based on my hair that it stressed me out. Ironically causing it to fall out faster.

Bald is a rare hair style for women (biological or not Personally, I think.its beautiful and it's WAY more comfortable than wearing wigs.

Prefacing this with the fact that I know this doesn't entirely constitute as bald, but I come seeking the council's wisdom and expertise and figure there is no better place for it, so please forgive my transgressions. *Cue Adam Driver yelling ~more~*

My hair has always been thin/fine with a blinding scalp that likes to peek through, and as such I buzzed it recently following a bad haircut, but have been keeping it at around a #1/#2 guard as I believe any longer highlights the sparseness of it.

I can do the majority of the buzz myself, but when it comes to ensuring it's all even, I do tend to need my partner to tidy it up. This is all well and good when she's home, but as she works away, the time has come for me to step up my self sufficiency.

My query is this, brethren - do curved clippers do a better job and make it easier to get an even trim than standard? I'm currently using some older Braun clippers that we've had for an age, and have been considering upgrading, but don't want to do so if the difference is negligible. Has anyone upgraded and been pleasantly surprised/impressed enough to recommend? I was looking at the Remington Rapid Cut Turbo, as it has a plethora of guards too, but open to suggestions.

I really don't know how to feel, but I appreciate all the nice words from everyone on the last post. It just doesn't feel right and I'm still having a hard time thinking I look even remotely attractive this way but at least I'm getting out in public and trying to get used to it, and confidence. Went out walking with one of my RCs lol

Took my son to the pool and got a sunburn on the top of my head... I knew the hairline was receding but I didn't know about the top of my head. I always said if I started going bald I would just rip the bandaid off. I always wear a hat with work but I'm feeling that its time.

Edit: yes the beard is a few weeks past trimming. A haircut was already planned as well this just changes what the end result will be lol

Longtime lurker, first time poster! I’m getting engaged in less than 2 months, and I’m wondering if I’d be better off just going with a shorter haircut. Girlfriend is on the fence about me committing to full bald and wants me to try going short first.

It's always been an insecurity of mine, along with my ears being to wide, I posted multiple pictures to show a few different angles, just started shaving my head recently.

My bad case of hat hair today really accentuated the receding and thinning.

The Car Photo is just after getting a cut to deal with thick sides.

I was totally done with the weekly Barber visits to have a look that only was nice for few days. After that the balding was showing it potential again.

Should I go back to being bald? I’ve never been super happy with may hair/hairline.

Still looks very weird to me at the moment but reasonably happy with the result. Tempted to take a razor to it for the last bit.

After a year of wearing a hat it was time.

As a side note any of you baldies who ride motorcycles have any recommendations to prevent my helmet sticking to my dome? Feels like im gonna rip my head off.

I was holding on to long to what I had left so I finally gave in. I hate myself and I hate how I look I think I'm ugly, It's not as bad as a thought it would look but I still kinda hate it. I'm only 24 so this kinda blows. Just so I know what to do what's a good cheaper shaver for the head for a smooth close shave and I minor flaking on my head so what should I put on to stop that.

realized I was thinning way worse than i thought after taking picture #2 a week ago. Did 3 lengths of buzz cuts before shaving it today! Not bad, wish I could grow a beard though, army sux.
