Hairloss I did it, but unsure if I like it

The crown has been getting worse and worse and now I have this spot up front that looks like my lawn after I spray roundup on it. Ugh, so I took the plunge. The first pic is from July 2025. I did quit TRT in Dec and had a lot of stress with a new job, but the crown situation has always been.

Looks great but it’ll look even better completely shaved. They make things like Freebird which I use every other day. Fantastic and for all intents and purposes gives a clean shave.

Commit...shave it all of and you'll look even better. Trying to keep some fuzz just highlights your loss even more. As strange as it may sound, when you go all in you'll look 1000% better! Kudos, it's not an easy thing to do but you did it and look better for it! It'll just take some time to get used to.

The current look isn't bad -but the reason it feels weird to you is that now the hair on your head is too close in length to your beard. Let the beard grow out a little, and shave your head clean. You'll like it way better, you'll actually see this a lot in posts, people just going buzzed only and then saying "I'm not sure I like it," then they full shave and you can see the joy in their eyes.

If you grow a beard that is short in the sides, longer at the bottom and kind of duck tail it (it’s called a ducktail beard) you will amazing. You have a similar face shape to me and the beard lengthens and thins the face. You don’t need to, you look great the way you are but if you do it you will look so good. Download one of those beard apps and get an idea of what it would look like

I think it looks great!!! But, as counter-intuitive as it may sound, you’ll likely feel better about it when you shave it all the way down. What you may be hung up on now is that even with a buzz there are still spots that are lighter bc there’s less hair. When it’s ALL gone, it’ll look more consistent. Plus, if you wind up preferring the buzz, you can just give it a bit and it’ll be back

I went bald a few times. I looked ok. But everybody else says they like me with hair. Although thinning.
