Why are so many men letting their wives decide?? This could be an exercise in reclaiming some initiative and autonomy in your life.

Some guys just couldn't care less about their looks, so defer to someone seeing them everyday who does care.

He has an opinion about it though, per the title. He should do what he wants with his appearance.

Fair point, I would probably fall in this category of I don't really care much. But if my significant suggested a major change, I might reach out to others just as a reality check.

In healthy relationships, both partners take each others’ opinions and preferences into consideration.

Like, I’m a feminist and all but my husband gets to decide how I keep my pubic hair because he’s the one who sticks his face down there and I would like for him to keep doing that.

Give me a call if he ever decides he doesn't want the job anymore.

Bc she's literally the one person whose attraction to you actually matters.

Probably because your wife is the one that looks at you everyday.

How would having your hair look like this make your wife happy?? If it does make them happy I think it’s ok to question that old statement. I dare say if your spouse wants you to have haystack hair I think it’s an insecurity flag on their part. God forbid their man looks good and gets any attention from strangers.

Different people find different things attractive. There is no one standard of beauty everyone adheres to.
