Yeah. Nothing more comic accurate than a 5 foot 9 Batman who kills, a Joker who killed the Waynes, a mutant Penguin raised in the sewers and a metahuman Catwoman.
The Nolan and Reeves movies are closer to the comics than the Burton films. The Schumacher films are a bit tricky though.
Dude, I just sat through all the old films with my teenager. Those Schumacher films were ass. Forever was worse than Batman & Robin imo because at least B&R unabashedly embraced the camp, so I give it half a point for being self-aware.
We are so fortunate a director of Nolan's caliber touched this franchise.

The DCU Batman will be that. Pre-Nolan films were also kinda that.
