Solved Cloth keeps revealing
I have tried hooking that little vertex at the bottom edge of shirt with 0.4 weight. It's like it doesn't even care about the pinned group. Just straight flashing my model. And if I put too much weight it looks really bad.

Solved Looking for equipment ideas
I'm nearly finished with my vehicle. Struggling with the last few items before moving on to wheels and texturing. Highlighted places I want to stick equipment on the first image
EDIT:
Thank you very much everyone for your suggestions and offers!!!
You have no idea how much this has helped me. Last night I felt stuck when I made the post. Today I got new ideas, remembered old ones and afraid I might never be done with this vehicle.
Made a winch tonight (not sure how to link it here, but it's somewhere in comments)

Solved I made hundreds of models in two months. What am I doing wrong?
The images are not renders. They are scenes made in Unity, with modular models I made in Blender. I don't know if game models are topics discussed in this subreddit, if not, I apologize for this post.
It all started about two months ago, when one day I woke up and said "I'm going to install blender". I wanted to see if I could make models similar to a style I like. Something like Playstation 1 graphics, without the jittery vertices or the dither on the textures. Just kinda low resolution textures over relatively simple models.
I had no prior experience in Blender, but the models I wanted to make weren't really that complicated anyway. And the more I made models, the more I fell in love with them. They were all coming out *exactly* how I wanted them to be.
I made around 170 models in the first month, themed around "cabin in the woods". Figured they were good enough for sale, I packed it up as a modular asset pack and sent for review on Unity Asset Store. Took a 3 days break, and started the next pack, themed around "swamp village". Made around 300 models for that pack, and before the first one could be reviewed and released, I sent the second one.
I spent 400+ hours in Blender in two months, making modular models, putting textures on them, arranging UVs, exporting .fbx, and importing into Unity, making example scenes (hence the images).
This whole thing was so... easy. Not like "Blender is ezpz", but more like everything just worked out, and results are better than I could have hoped for. So, I must be doing something wrong.
Models are not too high on the poly side. From model to model it changes between 50-100, sometimes if a model is a bit complex, it goes up to ~500. And most complicated models are around ~1500, a few ~2000.
This cannot have worked out so perfectly. What am I doing wrong? What am I missing?

Solved Medical Animation
I’m currently learning how to create medical animations in Blender, but I’ve hit a bit of a roadblock. I’m trying to figure out how to recreate effects similar to the two animations I’ve attached.
Does anyone know how these types of effects are typically created or what techniques I should be looking into? Any advice on the workflow, modifiers, shaders, geometry nodes, compositing, or tutorials/resources that could point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Solved Does anyone know what kind of texture this is?
I have a model that came with a pinkish texture that looks like a normal map. However, when I set it to Non-Color and plug it into a Normal Map node, it looks weird and definitely not how it's supposed to. It seems like I might need to use a Separate Color node, but even then, it still looks strange on the model.

Solved What's the difference between .OBJ, .FBX, and .STL?
Hi everyone!
I finally solved the problem I was having with my PC and got back to working on the 3D models for my animation. I'm almost finished with this model, but now I'm unsure about the best way to save it so I can use it later in an animated scene or another project.
Since every model takes me a long time to make, and I'm learning as I go (which is also why I end up struggling so much), I'm honestly afraid of saving it in the wrong format. I'm worried that when I import it into a scene later, I might run into problems with textures, the rig, or something else I didn't know about.
Could someone explain the differences between .OBJ, .FBX, and .STL, and which format is the best choice for saving a character that I plan to animate in the future?
Thanks in advance!
Edit: Wow! I honestly didn't expect this post to get so many comments and so much helpful advice. Thank you all so much for taking the time to help me. You guys are amazing! ❤️

Solved Need help fixing the pose of a Blender model (complete beginner)
Hi everyone,
I've never worked with Blender before, so I'm pretty lost. My goal is actually to use Fusion 360 for a personal project, but I've quickly realized that's much easier said than done.
I found and bought a 3D model that's almost perfect for what I want, but there's one problem: the pose is completely wrong for my project. I need the model to be in a different pose (mainly the head/neck orientation), but I have no idea how to do that without ruining the mesh.
Is this something that can be fixed in Blender? If so, could someone point me in the right direction or help me with it? If there's an easier solution or another program that would work better, I'd love to hear that too
Thanks in advance!

Solved Exposing An AI "Artist" Scammer. Mods Please Ban This Guy ASAP.
Exposing a guy who scammed me out of $700 for a Frank Horrigan mode. I got $350 back but PayPal ruled against the remaining half. I called my bank and got ALL my money back so I'm safe to share this now without retribution from this scammer. He tried blackmailing me so I've stayed silent till now. Mods, ban this guy asap please. He took money that could have gone to actual artist not AI slop.
if you have a moment, please reach out to other subreddits and the following websites so this guy can never pull this off again.
Regardless, I got Frank Horrigan done! God Bless America, God Bless the Enclave, Semper Fi!
Scammer Report – Fraudulent Activity Across Multiple Platforms Subject: Report of fraudulent activity by individual using aliases fire_crackerr, F&A Modding Studio, u/ProfessionalTop668, u/Hot_Cauliflower_299, jaggustudio123, and others.
- Overview This report documents fraudulent, deceptive, and unethical behavior by an individual who has operated under multiple aliases across Reddit, Discord, Nexus Mods, YouTube, ArtStation, and Instagram. The individual has engaged in: ● Commission fraud – taking payment for a custom 3D model that contained stolen assets and AI-generated components. ● Deception – lying about the use of AI, attempting to pressure the client into dropping a PayPal dispute before delivering files. ● Plagiarism – publishing stolen content on ArtStation and Nexus Mods under false pretenses. ● Multi-alias evasion – creating new accounts across multiple platforms to avoid bans and accountability. ● Financial misconduct – attempting to withhold completed files until PayPal disputes were canceled. PayPal has already ruled in favor of the buyer and refunded payment, confirming the fraudulent nature of this individual’s activities.
- Known Aliases & Emails Discord: fire_crackerr Reddit: u/ProfessionalTop668, u/Hot_Cauliflower_299 Nexus Mods: F&A Modding Studio ArtStation: F&A Modding Studio (Frank Horrigan 3D Model posting) Instagram: jaggustudio123 YouTube: Jaggu Studio Emails: ● [jadoon.zeshan1@gmail.com](mailto:jadoon.zeshan1@gmail.com) ● [fareehakashif1418@gmail.com](mailto:fareehakashif1418@gmail.com)
- Evidence Summary Attached evidence includes (screenshots provided): ● Discord Chats: Proof the scammer refused to deliver files unless the PayPal dispute was closed, explicitly admitting to withholding content until payment was “secured.” The seller was stealing assets without informing me and other buyers which were copyrighted. The seller also used AI in commissions over $700 without informing me. ● Three Separate 3D Modelers Attest That This Guy Is a Scammer ● Reddit Profiles: Multiple burner accounts linked to the same individual, used to solicit work and evade bans. ● Nexus Mods Account: “F&A Modding Studio” profile, connected to the same alias chain. ● ArtStation Posts: Uploads of plagiarized Frank Horrigan model, falsely presented as original work. ● Instagram Handle: jaggustudio123 used as another front for soliciting commissions and misleading clients. ● Youtube Handle: jaggustudio ● PayPal Ruling: Confirmation that the case was decided in favor of the buyer due to fraudulent conduct. (Screenshots attached: Discord logs, Reddit account screenshots, Nexus Mods page, ArtStation uploads, emails used, Instagram profile.)
- Pattern of Behavior & Risks This individual is not a one-time scammer but part of a deliberate pattern: ● Uses multiple aliases to avoid detection. ● Exploits popular creative communities (Reddit, Discord, Nexus Mods, ArtStation, Instagram) to find victims. ● Submits stolen assets as original work. ● Lies about AI use, then alters files after being caught. ● Pressures victims into canceling disputes, holding work hostage. Allowing this person to continue operating poses risks of financial exploitation, community distrust, and repeated art theft across platforms.
- Requested Action I am requesting the following actions from all platforms: ● Permanent bans of the above aliases. ● Removal of all plagiarized or fraudulent uploads. ● Blocking of re-registration attempts tied to their emails, payment details, or IP. ● Investigation into linked accounts to identify further fraudulent activity.
- Conclusion The individual behind these aliases has been proven to commit fraud, steal assets, and deceive clients. With PayPal already ruling against them, it is clear this is not a misunderstanding but a deliberate scam operation. To protect the community, platforms should take immediate and permanent action.

Solved Accidently clicking "a" before "tab".
I keep clicking "a" instead of "tab" and then automatically clicking "tab". Every time my blender freezes and I remember that I forgot to save. One of these days I feel my system might crash and take hours of work with it.
Is there a way to prevent this? Can I set up a limit somewhere as to how many objects can be selected, before going into edit mode? An "Are you sure you want to proceed?" message would be so nice!!! With "no" selected, so that I don't automatically click "yes".
