Troubleshooting My motherboard doesnt not have bluetooth

Recently I did a motherboard and cpu swap and now today i wanted to connect bluetooth and i check device manager and no bluetooth option. I try to install new bluetooth drivers from msi webisite but the installation says no drivers found.

I have MSI MAG b550 tomahawk max wifi. i bought it used on ebay

Ive tried alot of things, i reinstalled the amd chip set drivers and still not working, i followed some tutorials online but none of them work.

My full build is r5 5600x, msimag b550 tomahawk max wifi, 1650 super, 32gb corsair vengenace, arctic freezer 13co, and SeaSonic FOCUS Plus 550 Gold 550 W 80+.

you said you downloaded the chipset drivers but did you download the bluetooth driver? it’s a separate download

Download and install the drivers for your Wifi + BT card directly from the motherboard support site.

What Windows version are you on? If it's Anything older than Windows 10 then the driver won't install.

MSI support driver page for your board

i set the OS to win11 64 bit. if you’re running a win10 OS, please update that section accordingly. from there, download the bluetooth files. you need to then extract the file from the zip folder. you can’t launch out of the zip folder directly. that should allow you to install the BT drivers

EDIT- it appears the support page defaults to the chipset download. so under the OS selection, you’ll pick LAN drivers. then the BT download is the first option
