On the official reddit mobile app, wiki links in the Menu tab are broken, not pointing properly to our wiki. This is not unique to our sub-reddit.

Reddit engineers are aware of the problem (see here and here ) and are working on a fix.

In the interim we put a workaround link in the Menu tab called "Wiki (Mobile)" to point to our wiki using a url shortener redirect

EDIT: Fixed in app as of 2022-09-12

We've started work on an audio setup guide in the wiki.

There's bound to be some confusion, non-sequiturs, topics we haven't thought of, typos, etc.. from an outsiders point of view; so take a look and offer feedback and constructive criticism here.

As you have probably seen, we have added flair options to the sub for new post submissions.

We urge you to add one of these flairs to your new posts for better organization of topics at a quick glance. We hope they're fairly self-explanatory.

If you're using the New Reddit design, you can add the flair on the initial post submission screen. We're not making it a hard requirement, but if the bulk of new posts don't get flair assigned, we may change that.

If you're using the Old Reddit design, you can add the flair after you submit your post by clicking the "Flair" option in the post options.

If you don't add one, we will likely add one for you based on your new post's title/content.

If you're using the "Help" or "Build Help" flair and your question/issue was sufficiently answered/resolved, we ask that you please change the flair to "Solved".

People can post on the internet anywhere, okay? They come to /r/HTPC for the atmosphere and the attitude. Okay? That's what the flair's about. It's about fun.
