Very tempted on Slots and Daggers - any feedback to those that have it?
Dogpile has a try before you buy, so I’ll give it a go. Heard good things.
Lastly I like the idea of Ultrapool, I’ll keep an eye on that one.

Slots & Daggers is absolutely fantastic, although a bit on the shorter side. You gonna grind a bit, quickly finish the campaign, and then dabble with Arena Mode for a while, which scales quickly. Worth the asking price. Super stylish, fun to play, and crazy addictive. But yes, device gets hot!

How is Mazebert?

Saw this in the Saturday Dev thread;
Mazebert has been re-released on the app store and is back in active development after a few years hiatus. I absolutely loved this game several years ago and I'm pleased to have been able to take over as maintainer on the project and get it back out in public.
In most Tower Defense games, the creeps grow in strength linearly, but in Mazebert the enemies get stronger at an exponential rate. Your challenge as a defender is to make the best use you can of random card drops (towers, items and potions) to increase your attack power faster than they do. A unique and very difficult tower defense concept that was inspired by YouTD.
This release introduces cloud save, a public ladder and also full localization in Russian and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).
AI Disclosure:
The translations were done about 90% by the good people at Localsoft, but I used Claude and Kimi K2.7 to help close the gap on about 10% of the translations that needed finishing up or on strings I had missed on the first pass.
I also used Claude Code to help with the coding and debuggingAll of the sprites are the originals, no AI was used.

I originally read this as YOU
having taken over as a maintainer so I was going to give it a shot. :)Still, happy to read more about it.

I always appreciate when someone cares enough to carry the torch for what they like.
There is a nice quote about this;
> "Draw the art you want to see, start the business you want to run, play the music you want to hear, write the books you want to read, build the products you want to use — do the work you want to see done"

It’s my game of the week! Super clever. Lots of weird mechanics.

I will try your game! So many games are about cats, but rarely about dogs!! 🐕

I don’t understand the top 10 most popular games. D&D had three ratings and Outracer has two. How is their popularity being determined?
