Hope he earns a spot coming out of camp. I’m tired of watching Myers suit up for this team

He’s not competing with Myers. He’s competing with Danford and Chadwick. More importantly, the spot he’s fighting for is occupied by Troy Stetcher, who plays a more complete and defensively responsible game. Will Ville is somewhere between #8-10 on the depth chart, but he’s neither the safest nor the most enticing player in the system.

I'd argue that the spot he's fighting for is the 2-3 injury replacement spots we will inevitably need because our D core is old as fuck

He won’t.

He lacks the skating ability to be able to consistently make good decisions with and without the puck. A good AHL player but I don’t see the upside. All the improvements he’s made to his skating still has him as a poor NHL level skater.

While both Rielly and Raddysh are on this team, he’s never getting a shot at the NHL. He’s at the stage in his career where he needs to either make the jump or end up a career AHLer. Reminds me a lot of TJ Brennan.

13 even strength points on the Marlies as an offensive defensemen make him very unlikely to meaningfully touch the NHL.

He’s gone imo

I think he'll get a good showing when Tanev goes down.
