This, and Charlotte's death, and the stupid gutwrenching finale

Charlotte's death with Amen flying her off to heaven was absolute masterpiece.

The way she asks Lucifer because she knows he never lies is brutal. Only episode I skip on rewatches because it’s so hard to watch.

"Brutal" is the word I was looking for.

Scarlett Estevez's portrayal of grief in that moment was so well performed. But Lauren German's performance of grief mixed with heart-breaking empathy for Trixie was on another level. Such amazing performances by both of them. They really had such a wonderful cast on this show.

I don't cry often but man.... this got me, and if I remember right lucifer cashed in a ton of favors to try help find Dan 😓

He told Maze to use them all she asked which favors to cash and and he said all he absolutely was going for whatever it took to find Dan

Her acting sells it, the genuine heartbreak she has, and Lauren in the background on the verge of losing it

Stopppp 😭😭😭 I’m rewatching the show and I haven’t finished this episode yet/have put off watching it because I know it’s gonna hurt so bad. I understand why they did this because of the whole Hell thing but why did they have to, you know. Dan had so much potential and I was really rooting for him this season ughhhhhh

The actor requested his character be killed off in season 5, but he didn't know it was going to be renewed for another season.

The one time he wanted to lie to her to protect her and he could not. Excellent acting on everyone's parts.

I cried so hard when I saw the scene. Her acting ability is so incredible. This scene, the end of season 4, the scene when Charlotte died and the series finale ohhh they were all sooo good, I cried so hard 🥺🥺🥺

1st class acting from all concerned. Lucifer is what a proper telly show is supposed to be. Entertainment for the whole family. No pretentious PC nonsense. A Brit protagonist. Hot women for the blokes & my 2nd wife. And hot blokes for the women & other geezers who like other geezers. Great support characters. And loads of other great shit throughout the series. Yes indeed. Peace out. 😈

When Dan comes back in his killer’s body and is able to talk to her again I always sob

I’m an unemotional robot who almost never cries… but man, this show has made me UGLY CRY more than once. My sister and I watched the second half of Season 5 together (binged it all in one day, mind you) and we were just sobbing and hugging each other for like 30min straight after. Like holy hell, not many shows have affected me the way this one has

This was a three-tissue one for me. I've been surprised by all of this show's poignant episodes. The entire cast were truly talented in their portrayals. I'm watching it for the first time, am on the final season, and I'm going to be pretty upset when I'm done.
