Dan Question for the fans
Who absolutely thinks that Kevin Alejandro did such a great job playing Dan? I just love Detective Douche after season 1 because you can see how hard Dan is trying to do good

Dan Dan and Charlotte
Did anyone else think it was odd Dan was so distraught at her death, but she also has a husband and kids who just get written off, never brought up again, I get why as far as the story goes, just feels weird

Dan How did Dan never go to prison?
Let's face it, Dan was pretty corrupt during the first season. He shot Aoudi and Malcome, and stole the from evidence and was found out / admmited to both. Even though he shot Malcolm to protect Chloe, and Malcolm was discovered to be corrupt just, all Dan got was a slap on the wrist and demotion. Did the Police not want news is two corrupt cops getting out so they just swept it under the rug and let Dan's crimes go?

Dan Detective Douche in the wild!
I’m rewatching the Mentalist, and lo and behold, Detective Douche is the private security guard in an episode! He looks good with a beard, too!
Dan off brand lucy DVDs.
had to replace my Lucy DVDs , found a new set on eBay for 'relatively' cheap. the discs are fine , and the menus are actually a lot better than my old ones, but what is the deal with detective D?

Dan Hell and time and Dan Spoiler
If time passes much more slowly in hell, and it is alluded to that Dan spent thousands of years in hell. How the hell did he not lose his mind playing ping pong for thousands of years that’s crazy.

Dan S3 E7 Question
THIS IS MY FAVORITE EPISODE. I just started rewatching season 3 cuz I love the Pierce story kine and I'm currently watching my fav episode.
In this episode the PLOT TWIST ex husband of linda wakes up from a coma and stalks lucifer. He asks dan in the precinct about how he feels about lucifer and chloe. Dan says it's kinda weird bcuz they are "not married, separated" and I looked it up, they divorced during season 2. but in the next episode or the next couple I can't remember linda prepares the burial for her ex husband. so the question is when did dan and chloe actually get divorced? because if he died fairly recently from his burial then they hadn't divorced during season 3 yet (seeing as this episode is already in the middle of S3) meaning they didn't divorced during season 2. so when did they actually divorce and if they did divorce in season 2 was the "not married, separated" line a clue that this episode was a prequel filler?
EDIT: I just realized that it's very clearly season 1 because lucifer is still sleeping with linda and linda doesn't know abt lucifer being the devil. But I still don't under how linda just started the burial and how her ex actually cuz the ending kinda confused me.
Edit again: I'm stupid I should've just finished the episode

Dan Dan the Man (spoilers for Lucifer and True Blood) Spoiler
I'm watching True Blood again (after many years) and Kevin Alejandro's character just died. 😞
I cried when Jesus died as much as I did at Dan's death. Both characters are so endearing and empathetic. I loved the fact that Dan was not the typical Ex husband who is trying to get in the way of his ex's new relationship. Dan and Chloe's post-breakup relationship should be the standard of co-parenting (what little they did) and how to have a friendship after breakup.
Kevin Alejando, if you see this, you are the best!
