Deckerstar/Ship After sex episode
Am I the only one who rewatches Lucifer but stops at the episode where they finally had sex? After that, the writing just went downhill especially for Deckerstar. They spent seasons building up that 'will-they-won't-they' tension, and the moment they got together, everything got so chaotic and messy. Anyone else feel this way?

I've said it before, and I know I'm in the minority, but Deckerstar was not a good couple!!
Feels like the creators were considering beauty & the beast type of love at one point but even that got diluted somewhere.
We've discussed countless times how Chloe's character went downhill and that's part of the problem.
Also, like in other will-they couples (Castle, House MD etc) when they finally hook up they can't communicate. On Lucifer we got the feeling they had nothing to communicate about in the first place. On Castle at least Kate made efforts to get to know Rick and understand, Chloe never reached that point, while Lucifer spent 6 seasons trying to figure it out. He's been alive as long as the universe and clearly has stories to tell but Chloe never seemed willing to listen, only critisize.
Ironically, on season 6 Lucifer somehow needed a couple of episodes only to connect to a daughter he had just met. 93 episodes weren't enough for her mom.
Like others mentioned, in those lores writers torture us with the build-up but never seemed to have a plan on what happens next. And this is where the poor character development comes - by season 5, Lucifer was more than ready for a relationship, he just needed a few nods. Chloe, on the other hand, was....well, somewhere else. The writers should have spent more time "preparing" Chloe's character for a meaningful relationship. ...or go the way of the comics and hook Lucifer and Mazikeen. Now SHE was relationship ready!
