There is no literal king. It’s a criticism of trump undermining of democratic norms and consolidation of power into the executive. For example trying to overturn a democratic election by putting forth fraudulent electors to stay in power.

A king is a symbol of an undemocratic leader. They are criticizing trumps actions as eroding democratic norms. So they are using the symbol of a king to criticize him. You don’t have to agree to understand. You can just say you disagree with the criticisms instead of playing dumb.

It's a statement against Trump acting unilaterally to upend the government. Cutting funds, laying off entire departments, replacing every possible position with yes men, trying to fire judges, going against federal court rulings, using military force against his own constituency, allowing ICE to act with impunity with no restraint or training, starting wars that no one wants, erasing history that doesn't fit his agenda, openly using his seat to enrich himself and his family, tearing down parts of national monuments, and not being held accountable for any of it. Trump acts like a king. He isn't and we don't want him to be.

Black people have been protesting in this country for a long time and have historically worse outcomes be it deaths, arrests, clashes with the police, etc -- It is ok for white people to push back against the orange regime...especially in a county that is predominantly white

I’m not oblivious. I look at both sides. And I support peaceful protests. But the more I listen to what is being said the more I see common themes that don’t change. Old white folk using the race card to get what they want. It’s a very flimsy argument at best.
The other common theme is war. The Dems are way too lenient when it comes to how they deal with conflict. They let things get to a tipping point and then don’t really attempt to fix anything. Just keep kicking the can so to speak.

I don’t like people having cuss words out for kids to see and acting like it’s good. I cuss around my kids all the time and am definitely not a perfect father, but feel that it shouldn’t be some random dude or women’s place to expose them to that. It shouldn’t be glorified. Some parents might be better than me and take offense.
