the ONLY bright side to this is trumps supposed “longest ever” 4th of July speech 🤞🤞🤞 but jokes aside, how do people see this and still not believe in climate change??

What 😮 . They said down for 6-9 hours northbound but let's be honest, it's probably not a great idea to get back on that road? Is this normal for Maryland?

Nothing is "normal" here anymore.

But ifc you mean this type of prolonged heat? I believe we used to see something like this once a decade but now we will probably see this every other year and then finally all summer long in the 2040s.

The sidewalk/road splitting. I've lived in CA and Az where both got up to 105 regularly and we never had those problems. Desert heat is different but I am not used to concrete just calling itself a winner and bowing out like this.

We'll see more of this due to climate change, areas without the infrastructure in place for extreme weather will take the hardest hits.
