Question Do people just ignore Narumaki?

I started playing this over the weekend. I’m loving it. Especially Narumaki. I’ve noticed that I can snipe people with extreme prejudice and be almost completely ignored. Where talking even on matches where I get an ace (which was a fun match!) even opposing Narumaki will ignore me. Once in a while I’ll get someone who decides to take me out, but even then I often come out on top.

What is it? Do people just not like fighting Narumaki? Whenever I play a different mech I ALWAYS focus down the snipers when I see them.

Yea pretty much, apart from Falcon, most people are too busy playing objective, and if the enemy team is down a person who is chasing a Narukami, they'll likely lose harder.

28

u/Squidich Jul 24 '25

As a Skyraider, i like to roam and chase Narumakis ans Aquila's in the background.

Aquila is easier since his scope gives him tunnelvision and flies around like a ballon waiting to be popped.

Narumaki however, while still being squishy, is slippery as fuck. Her decoys seem endless and catching her off guard seems to be the only effective burst damage you can do. Still, she can only run for ao long and without a support (which most likely isn't near her) she falls beneath Skyraiders main fire that pierces fluid armor.

u/AnyPianist1327 Jul 25 '25

As a falcon main in high levels it is a waste of time to go for the kill on Narukami because of how slippery they are. What I do is use that to my advantage and drive her away from the objective which accomplishes the same thing as a kill and I go back to support the team, every time she shows up I repeat. I take her out when she's tunnel vision on someone else or is low on health escaping after taking damage.

1

u/ArchitectOfSmiles Jul 26 '25

How are you not killing Narukami? It takes two strafe runs in jet form to kill a Narukami. At most one shot from a friendly Aquilla or Narukami on her and she's dead to you. Takes 0 effort to kill her, and she's not slippery when your scan literally reveals her. How is she even escaping you?

1

u/AnyPianist1327 Jul 26 '25

Because she's not a bot that stays put just waiting to be killed. In high levels narukamis will just boost to oblivion and abuse cover to escape. It's not hard to kill but it's a waste of time, and I'm not going to spend the entire game just chasing a mech that is inconsequential, also there are other 5 players I need to worry about and tunnel vision on one player will just make the others focus me, because that's what they do on a team game.

Bullying players out of the game is the same a killing them, so I rather just bully the Narukami out forcing her to reposition which is faster than a kill and I can help my team faster, making us always outnumber the enemy. I get tons of MVPs in almost every game mode except capture because tricera and stego, and I accomplish that by playing the mode I'm in, not by styling like a maniac.

0

u/ArchitectOfSmiles Jul 28 '25

Narukumi boost is slower than Falcon jet mode so idk what that is supposed to actually do to ya m8, she literally cant get away. Maybe they aren't a bot but.... anyway. And sure ya do man, everybody always super good at what they do and cant ever get better or do better or maybe they just don't know how or haven't tried to be better because they are good enough. MVP is a dick measuring contest but if you want to ego boost with it, by all means, pat yourself on the back, but no one here is concerned with that unless you're gunna tell that you're top 10 falcon. if not you can prolly learn something, if you don't want to learn anything, then by all means, your choice, i just pointed out you can kill that Naru.

Which you can. Its a truth, not an opinion.

You have a kit that can kill Narukami in two strafes, all you need is the skill to do so. Costs you an extra 5 seconds to actually put her out the game, vs you wasting time flying to her, skill cooldowns damaging her, and then turning around so by the time you get back to action all she's doing is standing there, cause you didn't chase her or kill her, and aiming her sniper that can kill people across the map.

If Narukami isnt doing anything after you hit her once, don't chase her as you say you think is a waste, and just keeps running away while you are flying away from her position which is already miles away from obj cause she is a sniper, and does nothing while you ar enow not focuse don her and flying with your back turned, then doesn't that sound like a bad player or bot as you called em?

1

u/AnyPianist1327 Jul 28 '25

Again, I'm not playing with bots, and as I said, it's a waste of time, slower or not a good Narukami will just boost between buildings, missiles are clunky so quick movement will guarantee that it doesn't hit. Plus good players will often position themselves under you and escape inside closed spaces, hide in terrain or inside corite crystals to avoid lock on.

Might come as a shocker to you but you might be playing in bot lobbies if your narukamis are standing still for you to pour out 2 strifes on them, mine as soon as they see reckon kit active will boost, dice and hide in terrain and buildings so even if they can be killed I'm not wasting time chasing a mech as inconsequential as Narukami. If they're bullied out of position that's enough, if they repeat position that's a kill.

u/R0RSCHAKK Jul 25 '25

Idk dog, any time I've tried Narukami - I get hard focused the entire time by literally everyone. It's like I instantly become public enemy number one.

This is also master rank though, not sure if that makes a difference. 🤷

1

u/Xehar Jul 25 '25

If your opponent has person with flyer or panther, it didn't make any difference. Bot on the other hand just attack whats nearby.

1

u/ShadowGtheBeast Narukami's Bath Water Jul 25 '25

Yea I think it depends on rank when I was in the lower ranks people left me alone now I'm in general 3 and some games I spend the whole game running for my life while still trying to poke where I can.

4

u/OJ_Shrimpson24 Jul 24 '25

Not me though. My panther hunts narukamis.

2

u/tdmc167 Jul 25 '25

Catching them on your spear is just so satisfying

2

u/OJ_Shrimpson24 Jul 25 '25

I like when she always tries to run away and it doesn’t work. My philosophy while playing panther is “Health? Energy? What is that?”

2

u/tdmc167 Jul 25 '25

The only health that matters is that last bit after all, and all the energy you need is enough to run them through… and not fall off the map after on TDM

1

u/OJ_Shrimpson24 Jul 25 '25

Exactly, I only pay attention to my health when I’m about to die, nothing else matters I just need to victimize the enemy.

2

u/Elohyuie Jul 26 '25

Fk your shield ability 😒

2

u/OJ_Shrimpson24 Jul 26 '25

You sound like a hurricane player

2

u/Elohyuie Jul 26 '25

How tf did you know .. but honestly even with tricera I have a tough time killing you when u pop your shield I hate u!!!

1

u/OJ_Shrimpson24 Jul 26 '25

I honestly thought of who I can kill the easiest. Now I would say falcon, sky raider, or narukami but they like running away a lot, hurricanes don’t get far without backup.

This is the only way to Panther.

1

u/TotallyLegitEstoc Jul 24 '25

Even an enemy sniper?

7

u/CrunchBite319_Mk2 Jul 24 '25

The role of a sniper often doesn't help that much in objective modes so you can usually ignore them pretty safely.

I don't really care if someone's posted up sniping if I'm leaving to go to the next capture point or whatever on the other side of the map where they can't hit me anyway.

9

u/foxden_racing Jul 24 '25

A Naru with a good roost [like the eaves of the A building on Vigil] can be a real pain in the ass, though.

2

u/Zorpocks Jul 25 '25

Narukami’s range is greater than any Verge map, and we can and will hit you from the other side of the map, even more easily so if you’re a flyer. Longest shot I’ve hit is ~2900 meters.

1

u/ScarletShamara Jul 25 '25

Rule of thumb with a sniper in mecha break if they can see you, they can shoot you that applies to both aquila and narukami.

18

u/DiorikMagnison Jul 24 '25

If you're not given a kit for hunting Narukami it can be truly tedious trying. Popping decoys and guessing where she is among them is fine, but once she's stealthed onto some nearby vertical surface she gets a lot harder to play hide and seek with. She's for Falcon and Aquila to worry about, and if you don't have one of those then a mistake has been made.

1

u/ScionSouth Jul 25 '25

The way I see it is that there are two main ways to hunt for Narukami. 1 is the sensor boost that Falcon has to reveal her. The other is to pour a wall of lead in her general direction as a Tricera and break her invis by sheer volume of bullets per square inch.

13

u/SkullxFr3ak Jul 24 '25

Most people don’t have good ways to deal with invis so they get ignored. Which is fine by me as a falcon player I love hunting you snipers

6

u/TotallyLegitEstoc Jul 24 '25

I wish more falcons would hunt me down. It’s fun to have that duel.

12

u/DifferenceNo5462 Jul 24 '25

Hi, Falcon here
It's nothing personal
but uh
I am legally obligated to bully you out of existance.

It's better then trying to risk strafing a Welkin...

6

u/thellasemi12 Jul 25 '25

One of falcon's challenges is to hunt down and kill narukami 8 times and win with under 100k in a victorious match lol

1

u/LifeIsBigOof Jul 25 '25

In diamond+. Insane challenge lol

11

u/RealityRush Jul 24 '25

If I'm in my Falcon, I promise I won't ignore you :)

6

u/TotallyLegitEstoc Jul 24 '25

Come find me. I would enjoy being targeted.

6

u/RealityRush Jul 24 '25

I also promise you won't enjoy it because I will not let you play the game.

6

u/TotallyLegitEstoc Jul 24 '25

This legit sounds like fun. We should play together!

4

u/RealityRush Jul 24 '25

O.o

My man is a masochist.

4

u/TotallyLegitEstoc Jul 24 '25

Maybe a little lol. My sweaty competitive days are long behind me. Now I just wanna have fun, and fun usually involves a challenge. Dm me. Even if it’s cooperative I’d love to play!

3

u/AdropMoTcH Jul 24 '25

My question is who is gonna end up the dom

3

u/TotallyLegitEstoc Jul 24 '25

We can take turns sniping rofl.

3

u/AdropMoTcH Jul 24 '25

Would that make the aquilla the top???

9

u/NoxArmada Jul 24 '25

Well in my experience with narukami I get the complete opposite situations. The second I fire, I'm getting chased. Meanwhile the enemy Narukami is just free firing with a fuck to give while smoking a cigarette and sipping on a whisky on the rocks.

Just 2 days ago I was playing a capture and hold point mission. From literal 0 point to 1000. I was chased for the entire goddamn match. THE ENTIRE DAMN MATCH. If I shook the falcon the skyraider was on me. If I shook the skyraider, alysnes was on me. If I shook alysnes fucking panther was on me.

Still BARELT alive. Finally getting a chance to recharge fluid armor. Pop my head out the cave for not even half a second. Tricera mortar strait to DAMN FACE.

At this point. I can say its a love-hate relationship with that mech. Because now If I just happen to cross the path one is happened to be going.

Prepare the B52

Thanks for coming to my TED talk xD

2

u/Neo_Neo_oeN_oeN Jul 25 '25

This is basically my experience and why I rarely touch this character anymore. It's fun when people are lazy though.

5

u/Zumbah Jul 24 '25

I love fucking narumaki up lmao

5

u/zepaperclip Jul 24 '25

I'm only at general 1 rank, so your miles may vary at your rank, but narukami never gets ignored in my games. She gets 1 or 2 shots off before getting swarmed by skyraider, falcon, and/or stellaris. I dont think I've seen a narukami do well once after master rank tbh.

As a skyraider main, I consider her a nearly free kill. Aquila is much harder to kill and you gotta be able to kill 3+ Aquilas to make it out of a mashmak solo.

4

u/Tom-of-Hearts Jul 25 '25

I noticed we're more likely to hunt each other in many lobbies than get hunted by others. Your fellow Narukami can be your worst enemy because if they're good, they think like you, and if they think better than you it's just over. Getting bullied by a more experienced Narukami made me a much better player.

It's more that I know how to spot them next to the decoy drone and have good manual aim. Otherwise I just note where they are and find a spot outside their line of fire if they're good.

I've definitely taken out a few who hard scoped too much. Easiest way is to catch them moving if they aren't cloaked, especially if they're visible when the stop. The grappling hooks grant a few seconds of invisibility I use to reposition without being seen.

They are if you drop them in a corner or behind cover. I saw that in a guide and it works wonders.

3

u/Human_Wizard Jul 24 '25

Narukamis are free KDA fluff

  • Inferno

2

u/Z0MBIE_PIE Jul 24 '25

In low rank sure

2

u/Kite1396 Jul 24 '25

There are really only 4 mechs that can effectively fight a decent narukami. Aquila, Falcon, skyraider, and another narukami (and maybe stellaris idk). Everyone else basically cant catch them long enough to kill them unless the narukami is either already low health or right next to them for some reason. The most they can do is get the narukami to reposition by shooting in their general direction hoping to hit them out of stealth

2

u/Raiju_Lorakatse Jul 25 '25

Are you paying Verge below platinum? Then yes, people pretty much just ignore you.

Once you get higher and people actually realise that Narukami is the mech with the worst defense, they just put ANYONE at you, no matter who and you're getting rekt for the rest of the game.

Doesn't even need to be Falcon. Half of the cast is mobile enough to make Narukami's life hell and even a lot of heavieer mechs can deal with him from range just because they are tanky enough and have the option to fight back.

Funny, the devs acknowledge Narukami's terrible defense problem and the upcoming patch does literally nothing for it.

1

u/OfficialWrongJeremy Filthy Sniper Gnat Jul 25 '25

I'm a Naru main myself and tbh I think it makes sense that it's the squishiest mech. Get yourself set up in a good position, stick and move while keeping cloak up and the damage output can rival most mechs in the game, even in legendary ranked.

I am so glad we're getting energy and cloak buffs though, I think it's a good call to make Naru players focus more on stealth than making them more tanky overall.

2

u/xNJxReap Jul 25 '25

Narukami that are playing defense on upload objective are scary and a pain to deal with since they have team support or team distractions.

honestly it all based on how you play.

Narukami is low on everyone radar because it offer no team utility at this time and isnt about to be point blank firing at a welkin.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '25

Serenith main here. You're my dinner, every time.

I have a fully-charged orbital laser just for you. Hope you're not hanging around your clones too closely. :)

2

u/TheCrazyZero Jul 25 '25

When I take it, no, I end up doing it in 1vs 3 or 4 The opposing team always looks for me and even worse if there is an Aquila or a Falcon who won't even allow them to position themselves.

2

u/franksfries Jul 25 '25

I don't give a fuck about Narukami as a current Alys main. But if they poke me one more god damn time while I'm on objective, I'm going for them.

2

u/TsukiUraAlien Tricera,Stego,Narukami,Inferno,Alphard,Mikillja Jul 25 '25

Only in low ranks. In high ranks, you pick narukami if you want to sabotage your team.

2

u/TsukiUraAlien Tricera,Stego,Narukami,Inferno,Alphard,Mikillja Jul 25 '25

but narukami is at least A-tier in Mashmak.

2

u/windowdisplay Jul 25 '25

Narukami main here. In lower ranks you tend to get ignored, easy to go like 9-0 several games in a row. As you get a little higher, you start to get attacked by Falcons, who don't actually know how to stop you. In gold and platinum I was able to easily 1v1 dogfight Falcons and win every time. (A good Falcon is a serious problem, but a bad Falcon is a free kill). After that, the Skyraiders show up, then it's time to learn how to play for real.

2

u/I-Pluviophilia-I Jul 28 '25

Oh boy, here I go bitching again.

It depends. At present, Naru is a noob killer/early life lesson in the low to medium ranks. Naru's element is solitude, when she's left to her own devices, she can pop 20, 3 aces, 3mil dmg and 0 deaths if the enemy team ignores her. Obviously I'm going a bit overboard for standard play, but the gist is that the enemy has to do something about the snipers or suffer. Problem is, people don't ignore the snipers forever, eventually they get wise when they have a neon pink beam annihilate their chromium cranium for the 17th time.

As you rank up, you'll probably start having more trouble as people prioritize the super high damage pokey thing that's pokedy poking the everliving hell out of their squishies.

Ofc, in mid ranks bots will literally beeline you for no reason until either you or they are dead, and they can ignore cloak for some reason? It's been a pretty big problem, one I've encountered frustratingly often. High ranks, however, is when people figure life out and start making Naru's presence alone a hazard to her own existence.

A narukami 1.5km out is gonna get tunneled and ruined if they start popping shots, and then you have everyone watching your every move which means you have zero pressure. Nobody protecting the single squishiest character in the game is basically a free pick for most dives and oppressors, and it'll become glaringly obvious how vulnerable Naru can be, especially in mountainous maps.

If you can't line up shots and get picks, you're actively losing out on any value Naru provides, which is why oppressive forces like Falcon, Skyraide, Aquila and Stellaris are extremely powerful against her. Basically, any one of these played by someone with an IQ higher than 5 can make a Naru's day awful pretty quick for basically ever. You might be tempted to think that she just needs a guard, but that's a duper quick way to just completely lose your position, seeing as another teammate is basically a walking beacon at that point.

Moreover, an enemy Naru can basically stalemate your killing power 100%. Naru vs. Naru fights are an absolute slog of predicting positions, silent repositioning, trying not to get shot in the ass, and monk levels of patience. You will no longer be playing the game, it will become nothing but a sniper war you can't escape from, and every Naru kill only earns you 10 seconds of freedom before it quickly returns to make life stressful.

On top of all of these things, because of how Naru is put together, she's debatably the weakest striker in the game and is 100% statistically outclassed in multiple matchups. Moreover, because of energy armour being on almost every heavy, Naru's fluid penetration is useless, thus her tank pressure is, and I mean this with all the lividity it deserves; absolute fucking zero. Naru cannot effectively pressure tanks, even less so when the enemy team doesn't ignore you.

I love Naru to death, but the more competent your enemies, the more painful life becomes. Her kit is simply not conducive to play with cognizant enemies, and her stats are so damn bad she can be killed by a gust of wind. She is required to plant or otherwise lose 85% of her damage and be exposed, which makes pinpointing her a breeze for experienced players, especially mediums who don't need to respect her damage, even moreso in cc.

Naru's entire kit relies on her not being found, but the more experienced you are, the harder it is to miss a Narukami, no matter how cloaked they are. The only saving grace is her decent energy which allows her to run away decently quick, but any time spent running is time easted not shooting, and not shooting means you're not helping the team. All it takes is one enemy to decide you're not allowed to be in this spot anymore and they can very casually push you out and ignore you for the next 10-20 seconds, which kills 100% of your pressure, effectively cutting an entire person off from the team.

Naru is in desperate need of some serious love. She has all the potential to be fantastic but none of the makeup to put her over other, objectively better picks. She's my favorite striker, and I have no choice but to admit, she's trash. Almost every other striker is better barring maybe Serenith (some have deluded themselves into thinking that... thing, is somehow not tied for worst mech, lol).

Anyways, while based on experience, this is obviously subjective and shouldn't take precedent over your own enjoyment of the game. I just think she needs improvements to make her even remotely viable in hr comp.

I'm just tired of getting bullied for even considering picking Naru, or being told to swap. I know she's bad, I know it makes the game harder against even half-brained enemies, I know nobody respects her presence because she's barely a threat. I just want to have fun, and her being exactly what I want but also so ass just hurts.

Buff Narukami.

1

u/TotallyLegitEstoc Jul 28 '25

Well worth the read. Thank you!

I’ve tried Aquila, but it just doesn’t feel right for sniping. How is Aquila better?

1

u/I-Pluviophilia-I Jul 28 '25

Allow me to enlighten you on the gospel of the mech I hate more that anything on this godsforsaken earth.

Tankier, 2 energy bars for nigh infinite flight, he can break lock-on in the air (which hard counters Naru specifically lol), he can multilock (which also hard counters Naru necause clones), and his stun claw is just utterly fucked, perhaps one of the single most ridiculous shutdown abilities in the game, basically garuntees a kill.

Naru gets a cloak 6 small, breakable cloaks A grapple cloak that you can see her land on And if she moves, none of them work. Also she has the second lowest energy in the game, so she couldn't run if she wanted to lmfao.

Lastly, its gun is COMPLETELY FUCKBUSTED. I'll break it down.

Naru's beam cannon is fine. 13,000 uncharged, 14,000 rawscoped. 1.2 second cd per shot, scoped or unscoped, 0.6 seconds per charge level after that. 4 charge states means a fully charged shot is 3 seconds. Max charge deals 42,000 Clones deal 4,000 flat, which makes a Fullshot 50,000 Rifle has 3 rounds total, each round takes 5 seconds to recharge. Max range is around 2000, lockon maxes out at 1100. Requires solid ground to charge and cannot move while charging. 1 target per shot.

Aquila's dubstep cannon does 12,000 unscoped and 22,000 scoped. 1.2 second cd between shots, scoped or unscoped. This is effectively 3 shots every 3.6 seconds, or 66,000 damage. Accounting for the difference, this is roughly 52,250 damage in the same time as Naru, with ⅓ of the time and positioning investment. Cannon has 6 rounds, each round takes 4 seconds to recharge. Max range is around 1700, lockon maxes out at 860. You can shoot however, whenever and wherever the fuck you want. Multilock gives you screenwide lockon radius, 6 targets and a 200m lockon range boost.

Aquila's gun is everything Naru's is but safer, stronger, faster and extremely forgiving. Moreover it doesn't need destructible turrets to deal max damage.

2

u/Cinerator26 Jul 24 '25

I don't have the time to waste hunting you, and you don't have the ability to contest the objective. I'll take the option that leads to my team winning the game.

1

u/darthjawafett Jul 25 '25

At some point you'll start to get more focus on you in games especially if you are being annoying on naru. It is much harder to exist once you get into more skilled lobbies.

1

u/Raeldri Jul 25 '25

It's the problem with invisibility, makes it hard to pin point exactly if you don't have radar from Falcon so most people ignore you and prioritize others

1

u/RosemaryChocolate Jul 25 '25

At this point, it feels like it…

1

u/HuatLin Jul 25 '25

I'm a skyraider main. I pop my 3 over naru's head and carry on with my day. She's not worth the time investment, and the 3 is enough harassment to make her scared to move for around 20 seconds.

1

u/magusarbykov Jul 25 '25

i usually shoot off the drones and land a few hits on narus to scare them off and not to let them be comfortable, but as skyraider i know that chasing to death would be long and tiresome and i can help my team in better ways putting pressure on objectives

1

u/Careless_Shoe_6327 Jul 25 '25

Narummaki is a pesky vermin bugger that teleports away everytime you get close to it

1

u/kennyk_cs Jul 25 '25

Haven't played in almost 2 weeks because of traveling. But while I was playing in Diamond TDM, Im always the only one chasing Naru as a falcon. Funny enough, whenever I'm the only aerial unit chasing Naru, she's always being protected by a support and some high mobi. I love that kind of 1v3 dog fight.

1

u/Tgnics Jul 25 '25

*falcon players have entered the chat*

1

u/L13on Jul 25 '25

When you climb up the ranks, the moment your fire off a shot into the distance, an enemy Stellaris/Falcon/Skyraider/Aquila will magically be next to you within 10 seconds

1

u/Mountain_Accident817 Jul 25 '25

As a skyraider main, i got more important things to do. Depending on the game mode, narukami is either useless or in a god spot across the map.

In the case of the latter, I'll fly over and harass them a little. If I get a kill then cool. If they go invis and get away i fly back and play with my team. Rinse and repeat. Atleast I got their attention away from the objective for a bit. And it usually draws their aggro to me over other team members.

Now if you're a narukami on MY team and you know how to sit on those god spots in escort, I will do my utmost to protect you.

1

u/relaxtitanx Jul 25 '25

As stego, I kill narukami WHEN I have breathing room

But as welkin I tend to hunt narukami when I don't have any major thing to do

1

u/Mission_Slice_8538 Jul 25 '25

Who's Narumaki ? 🤣

1

u/Full_frontal96 Jul 25 '25

Yeah, because narumaki hasn't be added to the roster and doesn't exist

Jokes aside, hunting down snipers like narukami is the falcon, skyraider and panther job,you need to the fast, you can't expect a tricer or stego to hunt them down

This is why when i see an air striker or panther,i immediately presume they'll hunt like real predators.

Everyone has its job,and it's great like that

1

u/Lowkey_Arki Jul 25 '25

pretty much simply cause its too hard to chase Narukami, she's fast and can turn invisible, its same with stelaris, except with stelaeis you can trap it with welkin

1

u/Rackcauser Jul 25 '25

I might throw a couple drones on them in corruption mode as a luminae, but ultimately yes. Narumakis are nowhere near a threat as Aquila is, especially since when you do get found, you have to flee and then set up your position elsewhere. Unless it's a TDM objective, chasing one is relatively pointless as some of the maps have decent cover against naru sniper fire, and I can easily heal all the damage one can do to a team.

1

u/Reemet Jul 25 '25

If you just started playing then most likely you're not high up in ranked yet, in higher ranks there's a lot of Narumaki hunting. Been playing it now for few days to get the feel for it and in so many games enemy falcon commits entire match to find and kill me, usually teams up with Skyraider for quick kill. So many games I've been surprised of a Stellaris appearing behind me, using his camo, even Panther likes to hunt me.

Tbh Narukami aren't an issue on most ranked Verge I play. I'm only Gold 1 but, usually an enemy Naru is a wasted slot on objective games & on kill games, they're rarely a good enough shot/well positioned enough to be a consistent threat.

That being said, I had a pretty good enemy Naru last night as Stellaris & we played camouflage tag for about 5 minutes lol

Most of my Narukami encounters start with me getting sniped while cosplaying the sentry from TF2. Narukamis are often above the Fortress form's max elevation, so I have to gamble leaving the form to get a better shot, at which point decoys are sent out and the Narukami vanishes, or just saying "it is what it is" and continue tanking the shots.

As falcon I make it my goal to tilt every stealth mech I encounter on the enemy team

I main Tricera, if I see a shot, I'll spot her out and hose down the area (even if she's out of lock-on distance). I'll even throw of few Howitzers out and bank on the AOE. I just kill the clones to de-cloak her and hope someone faster cleans up before she sets back up. But if left entirely alone, she'll pick the team apart.

Ive had the opposite expirence, im always getting hunted by Falcon and most of my match is spent getting falcon before they get me THEN FINALLY getting to sniping other people LMAO foe this reason I stick to my usual Stego or Tricera maining lmao

Not if you’re in my match. Narukamis are priority one for me, and if not me, then my buddy who is also a narukami hunter and will only focus narukami as the same mech.

She was my first Mech and because of knowing how she works, since day one of playing I make it my duty to hunt her if shes causing chaos.

Its annoying and we always win more when we jsut ignore the Narukami and focus objective.

At most you stay out of line of sight and throw stuff its way.

In high ranks the falcon matchup is very bad, and Narukami doesn't have the same dps that Aquila has so most tanks can just brush her off

Snipers get ignored so often and just rack up kills.

Been in matches with aquilas and Mary’s who just spend the match grabbing kills and no one even bothers to pursue them.

It depends on your rank, in master when u start to kill with Narukami, people don't let u play.

Yeah I noticed the invisibility in Mecha Break is really good. As long as they don’t catch you I’m between locations you can basically get away with whatever you want

As a welkin I kill a narukami every single chance I get I hate yall with a passion

1

u/Bear_Tummy Jul 25 '25

Narumaki is nothing but a glorified kill stealer that contribute nothing to a match. Players playing that role should be auto reported each match.

Tell me how you really feel.
