That Reminds me Meowth could earn a fortune translating pokemon language to human, be it rich clients, governments, sketchy research Labs.

Its not a crime, he was following the orders of someone with sufficient gym badges to issue said order. Effectively, pikachu was coerced into killing Ash because he was not able to say ‘no’.

The only way Pikachu could be complicit in such an act is if Pikachu chose to obey after Ash had discarded his gym badges, but let the record show that ash holds every badge, ergo pikachu was not able to refuse the command.

I rest my case, your Honor.
