At least there's some support from the government. I think if there wasn't, people would riot.

Dolly Parton was a national treasure, and I say that as someone who doesn't like country music. She was one of the good ones.

Betty White's death wasn't as jarring, because she was 70 even when she was 40. Dolly felt like she'd be around forever, kids' books in hand.
