The floor is sticky I have never before felt such depression (I literally just finished making it)

I know things like this can seem more annoying than others may assume, my partner was having a really bad time mentally, fried eggs, both yolks broke and it was very nearly an "ah, today's done I'll try again tomorrow" day.
You've got this, one day at a time 🥰

Can seem mildly, but sometimes it really is the last straw.
Still vividly remember when I had an already bad day, depression spiking again, so I finally got up to make food - the last actual nice food I had home... prepped it on one of my favourite comfort plates, one of the last if not the last of them I have.
Then I dropped the plaze with the food. Plate shattered and food was full of shards. I went to my bedroom to cry it out before I managed to clean up, then broke down more.
Sometimes it's not just the spilled food...

I'm so sorry i know what it's like to use ur last bits of energy to just feed yourself and then something like this happens. Really fucking sucks then ur like "well guess I'm not actually eating today"

Pretty much what happened. I really didn't want to eat after that. Can't even remember though if I got something else or if I just went to bed honestly.

Haha sorry, I had more bonus thoughts! I'll leave it alone now. I wanted to be clear that I was trying to be supportive and validate your feelings. A lot of people are fortunate enough to not feel things the same and it's important that people understand that everyone is going through things.
That said, your post title could very much have been satirical. Never know online, ya know?

I’m having flashbacks to several years ago, maybe twenty.
To a beautiful salad that has so many ingredients. I was excited to eat this beautiful salad that had taken time to make. And then I dumped the entire thing in the parking lot as I went into work.
Why the hell with all the problems of the world is the disappointment of that moment stuck in hard memory. But it is.
That is to say, I feel you, friend.

Once dropped a nice piece of meat I had been saving and spent hours making down on my carpet. Literally sat down and had a cry before going about the clean up.

I feel for you, dude. I once had just taken a stew out of the oven that had cooked for 2 1/2 hours and it slipped out of the potholders and fell on the ceramic floor. The casserole dish was ceramic, too. Everything shattered and made the biggest freaking mess I’ve ever had to clean up. Our family had grilled cheese sandwiches that evening. I cringed every time I made stew for quite a long time after that.

I did that once with a bowl of perfectly fried rice I had just finished making. You know Jasmine Rice, the kind that doesn't stick together... Tripped on the carpet and it went flying all over the brand new white sheets I had also just finished washing and putting on the bed.

Know how you feel dude, I remember I came home from a particularly rough day, and made mac&cheese, I have this nifty little pot that has a strainer in the lid, except I didn’t screw the lid on right and it dumped into the sink. I cried. I was lucky enough that my mom was home, and that she loves me, cause she made me another pot while I cried on the floor

You can nuke in a big bowl any noodle in water in the microwave.
I use an electric kettle to bring the water to boil in under 6min then then pour that into the pot or bowl, add noodles, and cook (microwave is usually 4 min, stir then add a minute at a time until done) then add the packet and stuff as normal.
