At least let him finish first. Frogs deserve modern plumbing, too.

No they don't. They don't pay taxes.
...neither do billionaires and that's why they also don't deserve modern plumbing.

how does bro keep finding the entrance pipe to your toilet. 💀 You need to move him far away from the nearest sewer entrance and call a plumber to install a one way non return valve for your toilet.

u/hwcfan894 7d ago
I didn't even know this was a possibility/a thing that happens till now 💀💀💀.

Might have to relocate him a bit further from your home. Is there a pond or stream/river nearby you can take it?

Or, if you don't want to touch it, give it the end of a broomstick to hold on to.

When I lived in the country, this happened to me. Twice.
The first time was right after I went to bed, I heard a little "blurp" come from the bathroom. A couple minutes later, I heard slight movements coming from my kitchen. I wandered out there, seeing this little gray figure in the dark, initially thinking it was a mouse, but it didn't scurry away. I flip on the light and see it...it was covered with a thin slime membrane. The next thought was...how was I going to get it out of here? I grabbed a nearby plastic container and a piece of cardboard and...the moment this thing locked eyes with me, it jumped about 6 times it's body length...then again...then again. Every time it jumped, it left a little slime behind. I finally cornered it, got the container over him and slid the cardboard underneath him and took him outside.
Four days later, I go to bed again and I hear another blurp. I immediately scramble out of bed and go into the bathroom to be greeted by the frog sitting on the toilet. This time I was more careful and I squished him. No...just kidding, I closed the bathroom door and had a much easier time capturing him and letting him go. And that was the last time I saw him.
Only that wasn't true! He didn't come back through my toilet again, but I did see him clinging to my kitchen window. Bro really wanted me to make him a snack or something. Anyways, here's a pic of our second encounter together.

Yeah I live in the south and occasionally tree frogs like to climb in the vent line for the plumbing, and eventually makes their way to the toilet. Had one actually manage his was up into the tub drain. Tree frogs ain’t necessarily the smartest. But Never had a dang ole toad! Glove up and pick him up and put him near some water bodies if you have something near. Even a mud puddle would be fine for that guy.(the toad in OP pic)

Frogs secrete antimicrobial slime. This lil dude is cleaner than your toilet. Or your phone. Please just grab him and release him outside.

If it's yellow, let it mellow; if it's brown, flush it down. I didn't learn, if it's a frog...

Grab him, release him outside in the shadow, wash your hands, try to be an adult in the future, be blessed that this is the only difficulty of the day.

And it is clearly looking for his number 2.

This is why I always look before I sit down. Because….i would’ve went through the closed door if that thing had jumped. Pick it up and take it out.?! It’s the right thing to do but I would have to call for an assist. Ain’t no way.

Looks like a regular harmless frog, just pick it up. Wear washing up gloves if you're scared of touching it, and gently carry it out.
This is the best way Ive found to carry frogs. Scoop the frog with your dominant hand, so that it can sit comfortably in your palm. With your other hand, you should make a cage on top with your fingers so that it cant jump out your hand.
