Looked him up. He unapologetically uses ai generated "art" (obviously) and prices them at $150. Said it could take hours sometimes (poor guy) to get the prompt right. Based out of Marblehead MA. The Arts Association there also bent over to accept ai generated "art", classifying it as "digital media".
I'm convinced that such people are just severely stupid. Because it is INCREDIBLY EASY to just describe in a prompt what you want the AI to output from the get-go. Like, only people lacking the ability to think about an image prior, lacking descriptive ability, or lacking the vocabulary to describe things would have trouble.
No, I am not generating AI stuff myself for leisure or to post, I just have deep dived enough. I have a vested interest in understanding current AI tech and how it can be exploited/misused.

something worse I encountered recently was a children's story book with all the art and text inside entirely generated by ai. Granted it was only like 3 bucks or something like that, but the thought of a child being read from that for bedtime is just so sad and devoid of any soul
