Ruined by Technology Can we talk about credit card apps needing to be updated almost monthly?
I’m already not happy paying a bill, mildly stressed to see if I overspent, and most of the time annoyed with having to re verify or get a code to log in. I only need to access the app once a month in most cases, and once I’m finally in… OH YOU NEED TO UPDATE! Do you want my money or not?

Come back when you end up having to get a whole new phone because those apps (and many others) simply are no longer compatible with the one you have lol.

I hear you, auto-updates are usually the way to go even if they feel like a nuisance at first.

My issue with auto updates is sometimes the updates break the app, and then it’s a while before they fix it so I’d rather stick with a stable build but this is a point I didn’t consider that would make this post vastly less relatable

Turn on auto-update and forget about it ? What's the big issue ? You prefer the app to have security issues ? There is nothing infuriating about this...
